Russian? What school in Pennsylvania offers Russian as the other choice from Spanish? And you have to continue English class (in some form) up through high school, colleges require it. |

Thanks for the heads up
I once chated up an American girl in a bar and found out she spoke Russian. I asked why and with a serious face she said "Know your enemy"! Luckily I don't mind stealing jokes, so

Here it is in 7th grade, where you pick Spanish or French. Then in 9th on you can continue with Spanish or French, or add on/change to any of these languages: German, Latin, Italian, Russian, Obviuosly much better than in Penn. No offense JDog.

I did 5 years of Latin, 3 of French, 6 of German and dabbled with Greek and Russian
As well as a bit of Hungarian (thanks to a friend), Dutch (its basically german), Danish, Swedish(too many films), Romanian (thanks to a friend), Maori (thanks to an old teacher), Japanese and Cantonese
When i say a bit i mean 10ish phrases or words minimum.
Got a D in Latin GCSE and D in German ALevel (A in oral). French i can do thanks to cycling
Languages in the UK are a joke. I am by far the exception to the rule.
After 12 you dont have to do a language. And before 12 i dont think you have to either (not sure)
Also;
I hate being ill!!! Damn cold keeps me up, means im tired, i hvnt been cycling in days nor hve i played pcm...

This Photobucket issue is really bugging me...
Any good alternatives, or do I have to revert to imageshack?

True, but I was at a state school and it was obligatory to study a language up to and including GCSE. |

I did German to GCSE. From what I remember though, I dont think it was compulsory at my school to do a GCSE language. Everyone did German for the first 3 years of high school, some people could do French aswell in the 3rd year. May well have been compulsory but I cant remember - long time ago (well, 6/7 years since making the choices), and I was happy to do it to GCSE at the time anyway.
