Three leaders, appearantly they're 8 minutes in front of the bunch.
79 Balloni (ITA, FAR) +1:05
137 Kaisen (BEL, LTB) +1:09
27 Rubiano (COL, AND) +1:20 |

Balloni wins the "mountain" sprint and takes the blue jersey.
Rubiano really messed that up. He didn't keep track on Balloni.

I am also back..
Great for Phinney ..guy is 21 this will be amazing motivation boost for career. I expected Scarponi to be much better.
Basso will get stronger and stronger every day.
Kreuziger will not make to the podium.
Purito great ride..will he last thrue Giro..after quite normal riding form at Ardennes classics. |

Wow, news just came in that the mayor of Horsens, where the stage tomorrow takes place, was hit by a heart attack today and has passed away. Might affect the stage tomorrow. |

; / Now Horsens will grieve both of WW's death (marked with a 1 minute silence before start) and their mayor tomorrow. This is really sad ...

I highly doubt it. The black-blue train will shut all moves down.

Hopefully he'll make it back. Would be so unlucky for him otherwise.
