Told you he's a god. He's already the leader in is first race for Lotto Belisol which included Bak and others. Says enough

So I heard you had a tough day in the Tour of Utah yesterday, well then... time for an echelon stage!
Going to be a tough ol' stage with the peloton going hell for leather, breakaways trying to form, riders getting shelled out the back, and Moreno Hofland reportedly abandoning during all this agony. Live coverage on Tour Tracker as always: https://tourtracke...futah.com/
Edit #1: Oooomph, the Tour of Poland just had their cow incident utterly outdone by a post incident. Once again a Garmin rider manages to get involved, but one of the local US teams had one of their riders clean themselves up riding in the gutter on a steel picket fence post.
Very fortunately it looks like the damage is "minimal", compared to what it could have been for the Garmin Sharp's Gavin Mannion. Not quite so good for Gregory Brenes of Jamis Hagen.

What a great ride by Danielson and Garmin today.
I hope they change their mind and Tom is riding Vuelta this year.
They have 3 better climbers. Better for him to lead at USAPC.
Does giving your team a better chance to win the Vuelta trump winning the USAPC? Clearly he wins that race with how he has looked in Utah and not doing anything tough until then but He would be a huge asset to add to the Vuelta team.
I say bring him and you have 5 riders who can all hold their own in the high mountains. They would have one hell of a team.

They would absolutely NEVER win the Vuelta. i love them, but you need 1 huge absolute leader for that, and that's just not the team they have. They are an American team and he hasn't done anything in a GT since Tour 2011. It's more worthwhile for him to take the crown in a high profile American race.

Ryder? Giro?
2 and a half years ago he won it. This year he had all the freedom and was not close to that. He just isn't the same rider. he's not capable of that anymore, as much as I hate it.

Sorry I misread your post, I thought you said the team had not had any success since 2011 not Tom D.
Your point on not bringing him and winning the USAPC still makes no sense to me. He dominated Horner and Horner won the Vuelta last year.
