Well, I think that Uran and Henao will lead the Ardennes.

JTL is good off in Sky, I think. He'll get a lot of experience there, working for the leaders, then he can take up the reins in a few years himself! |

No need to put pressure on JTL to lead when the Colombians are there. Give him a teammate/free role and see how far he can get.

He's 27... oh wait it's Sky.

VERY surprising for me. He doesn't have the results to deserve riding WT at the moment.
He is considered a talent somewhat in German youth ranks, so he'll be in good company. Still, it would surprise me a lot if he made an impact next year, actually not 2014 either.

That's exactly why I posted it, a lot of people that are interested would have missed it.

To be honest, e.g Sagan did not have any significant road results before joining Liquigas. It is the extreme example, but i am sure scouts can spot a talent even without great results. To be fair Sagan was dominating MTBs and was great in cyclocross also.
I hope he will do good, too bad Nerz is gone, he could have a german speaking partner there.

I believe in chances. We'll see how Koch does in Cannondale. Maybe he'll surprise us |

Didn't he miss a couple of years due to illness? We know what to expect then? Tour de France 1-2 with Froome and JTL. |

Yes, he did. He also was injured most of last year. |

In all fairness, that illness was known about, unlike Froome's. |

I don't think there can be any disputing that Cavendish is an obnoxious, arrogant idiot. Look at the way he carried on after failing to win gold at the Olympics, blaming the Germans and the Australians and trying to make it out to be some kind of grand conspiracy by the world of cycling to deny GB a gold medal. |

To be fair it's his own fault he was out of cycling for so long. He's the one who insisted on going right back to the island after all that crap trying to get out if it.

Really? I thought he was the one who got lost in the Aegean and that's why it took him so long to get back...

No one is denying the first point, but your example is not true. He was entirely justified in what he said. Australia and Germany didn't help because they didn't want to help GB keep the race together, which is fine...if a mass sprint wasn't their only chances as well. The both decided they'd rather let a break get away then help GB catch everyone and setup a sprint, which was stupid because Greipel had beaten Cav in the Tour and Goss had gotten close. It's their prerogative, of course, but it did seem a little spiteful.
