I'm tired of the GC fight ruining perfect breakaway stages
Luckily for himself the wise man listened to his own wise words, and some others with him!

Numbers one, two, three, five and six on the stage were thus selected by at least half of the managers. Nice points, but nothing crazy. Simon Yates was third and delivered 23 points to three managers each. Big kudos to Alexkr00 on selecting the entire top-6, as well as Poole. The reason it was not enough for the stage win here was old fox Caruso. He netted our stage winner Ollfardh 40 points, in addition to also selecting four other correct riders. Congratulations!

Stage 18 was a special one, but alex and ember both score fifty points by selecting the stage winner Denz. I had him in my Giro team on Sporza though, so I deserve some respect as well? Ulrich predicted De Bondt, also good for fifty points, but it's kandesbunzler winning the stage with the 90 points brought in by Maestri. Congratulations!

Abhishek doesn't score big in this update, but remains comfortably in the lead for now. Second to ninth place is very close still, with ember and alex finding their 'start of the Giro-form' again slowly, both rising in the rankings to second and fourth respectively.
The difference between numbers one and two (and numbers nine and ten) are bigger than the difference between 2 and 9.
Also interesting to note is that sean, apart from being the only one predicting a stage one breakaway rider correctly, will also be the only one with a correct answer on the team with the most stage wins (Lidl). Ayuso also out of the race means very few captain points being scored there in the end, just like Roglic. Tiberi so far also looking like his score will remain very low, and it might be seancoll with Pidcock who has the best choice there in the end as well. Although the points by Pidcock so far are also far from big.
Dman you, ember. Since I made the nominations first, I like to think you stole Denz from me
Haha, yeah, to be honest I didn’t know. Was hopeful he was a 100 pointer for me too, until I saw Nemo’s update Looked like we were both all in on a breakaway stage, at least, definitely had high hopes there during the stage for several top 10 placings. Coming away from it with only Denz was a slight disappointment as it playes out. Suspect both of us would have needed more of those breakaway riders making it count on such an opportunity!
