Some stats halfway through the game:
- The Hornets have been the most consistent scorers so far, not scoring in only 3 races. Compare that to the Bombers who scored 0 for 10 races in a row between the Drome Classic and Sanremo.
- The biggest scoring race was obviously Milano - Sanremo, but it was so good it outscores the totals of both Block 2 and Block 3.
- The least scoring races are Drenthe and both Loire races, which is pretty obvious as they were added later.
- Of the 16 races, 12 were won by an active participant, 1 was won by Cavendish who was not selected for that block and wins by Polanc, Van Gestel and Perez did not help anyone.
- Mathieu's 3rd place in Sanremo was the biggest point loss for a manager.
- Hofstetter is the most consistent scorer so far, scoring in 6 races and in all 4 blocks. Both Pogacar and Mohoric outscore him though, both from only 2 races.
- Kuurne was the best scoring CT1 race, Le Samyn the best scoring CT2 race (outscoring a few CT1 races as well). Omloop outscored Strade despite being rated lower.
- Omloop is also the only race that saw every team score points.
- Only 2 teams did not win a race so far, the Lemmings and (more suprisingly looking at their ranking) the Hussars.
- From the first draft round, Pidcock has to be the biggest bust so far, with only 5 points despite being the pretty much unanimous first pick. Schachmann and Evenepoel are on 0 but they haven't raced any classics so far. For the second round it's even worse.
- The best round so far might be round 7 with both Hofstetter and Turgis but also Ackermann and Martin.
- The two best riders so far are Slovenians with Pogacar and Mohoric. I also saw good results from Polanc and Tratnik, so I'm a bit disappointed no one picked a Slovenian team.

BBL's Bombers
Fernando Gaviria
Alex Aranburu
Florian Senechal
Biniam Girmay Hailu
Christophe Laporte
Dylan Van Baarle
Guillaume Boivin
MichaĆ Kwiatkowski
A little disappointed no Kwiatek on the startlists, just hoping he pops in.
Edit: PCS simultaneously saying Gaviria is out with a broken collarbone and is racing De Panne. Whatever, not like I have anyone else I guess.

Always like some stats, thanks for that Ollfahrd
Looking good for the Pacifiers so far, and with a Colbrelli hopefully back in form the cobbles should be decent for points as well.
Cobbleeeeeeeees!
Van Aert
Pogacar
Philipsen
Coquard
Colbrelli
Turgis
Bol
Campenaerts

Ackerman as a "lets just annoy Roturn" pick is working nicely. Others, less so. More an indication how i've slipped far away from Mens racing. In my own predictions for the WWT and races so far i'm fare more successful.
Roughnecks Block 4
Pascal Ackermann
Max Walscheid
Tiesj Benoot
Kasper Asgreen
Mikkel Honore
Sven Erik Bystrom
Adrien Petit
Mark Cavendish

For those wondering: Yes, I completely missed GP Industria but their startlists are crap, so ... meh!

Block 5 Paladins:
Matteo Trentin
Alexander Kristoff
Florian Vermeersch
Jordi Meeus
Edward Theuns
Soren Kragh Andersen
Nacer Bouhanni
Olav Kooij
Tough choice to include Halvorsen somewhere, but he was pretty bad all season.

Thomas Pidcock
Tim Merlier
Dylan Groenewegen
Rasmus Tiller
Gianni Moscon
Tom Van Asbroeck
Piet Allegaert
Mike Teunissen
Was considering to leave out Pidcock due to his weak performances so far and him only starting in one race but in the end decided to keep him in and Geniets is the one missing out (besides Nibali). |

You should rather have included Per Sempre Alfredo
Unexpected to see Hirschi return earlier than it was planned, but obviously a great and promising way to start the season. Looks like he'll even do some cobbles soon
Fainthearts, Block 5:
Mads Pedersen
Marc Hirschi
Alberto Bettiol
Luca Mozzato
Bram Welten
Sep Vanmarcke
Zdenek Stybar
Heinrich Haussler

Got a 3-5 there, so I'm kinda happy with selecting Bouhanni and Kooij for just 1 race. Congrats with the 1-2 Bikex!

Looks like Girmay is shutting down the his classics campaign after E3 to prep for the Giro. Very disappointing as he's been my only consistent scorer and is very fun to root for.

I really Girmay as well, would've drafted him if he was still available (well, a few others as well but glad Kooij did well).
So after yesterday's race the Bald Beagles and the Paladins jump over the Hussars, but the gap with the Pacifiers is still significant. The Hornets overtake the Roughnecks again and the Bananas slightly increase their gap over the Fainthearts.

Ouch. That's a big, fat, ugly ZERO by my probably strongest possible cobbles lineup. Pedersen and Haussler sprinted well it seems, but it was completely useless (and pointless ^^). Vanmarcke is by far the biggest disappointment so far though, just DNS and DNF. Don't know what's wrong with the boys, they probably just took the team name too seriously :S

Can't believe Van Aert didn't give Laporte the win.

Well, the Bombers scored best today with Laporte, Girmay and Van Baarle and this sees them gaining a spot in the rankings. Good scoring from the Pacifiers increases their gap again. The Bald Beagles also get a small gap over the Hornets, Paladins, Hussars and Roughnecks, who are all very close together.

Laporte realized Van Aert in first and him coming second would give the Pacifiers more points. He's been a fan of us since day 1
