I really had my doubts before the Giro if Tom hadn't lost some time trial skills as a consequence of GC focus. Looks like I was wrong then.

Well wish it would be enough for Tom in 3rd week. But it wont be

Yeah but that's on the last day and I doubt it plays out the same way as this one, Dumoulin will be nowhere as fresh after having to try and defend this lead in the mountains.

Where is Dumoulin when it is time to beat Froome at TdF. May be Giro-TdF double for Dumoulin this year. |

Very good for the race, Dumoulin will be under siege now like he was in the Vuelta, Nairo needs to put + 4 minutes on him now! |

Exactly. Iam saying that because tom's team in comparison with movistar team in mountains is sh*t. And not saying that wilco has gone

To be safe he has to put 4 minutes into him but I don't see Dumoulin being as dominant in that final TT. But you are correct about the race, we are set up for a great race now.

Maybe that final TT will be like Evans vs Schleck in TDF 11

This Giro have got some cool days ahead. One of the better GT perhaps in some time. The pendulum will surely swing more then a couple of times in the coming days.
This will be thrilling to see. A drama we hope last until the last days TT.

Does not matter that much. 3rd week is for climbers and GT final TT's is always weird ones. Guys with fresher legs can take some advantage against TT specialists.
Really interesting 3rd week for sure. Giro on he's best ..as most of the years.
Nibali as GT winner subject.
It go's way back when did discuss with ruben ..who will be better GT rider Nibali or Gesink?
Nibali beat that competition with mile..great bike handler, with some luck, team leader type, GT riding touch. I would not take nothing away from he's wins ..with several If's.
Guy is just a winner
