National IQ test.
Was a question about memory. About 6 pictures were shown, including that one. After that, there was a question about one of the pictures. Not 'yours' though.

@Hobbit
What exactly happens with Photobucket? I know the site really well and (for me and many others) it really is the best out there for free image hosting.
Tinypic is good for hosting, but doesn't hold up as well for the whole sharing thing because of the way it links to the images. Similar to Imageshack in that aspect except a bit worse (imo)

I've found Imgur to be quite good, but I agree with Manx - Photobucket is the best one there is

Well , i find dodaj.rs best site for that use (since i tried Photobucket and Imageshack before). It allows you to add as many pictures as you want at once and it never delets them, it's free and you can also sort your images in albums (only with account, of course). I am really satisfied with it, never had any problem with it.
Shame it's Serbian (.rs) site and not International (.com). |

What's with the getting 8GB of extra storage when you use Photobucket with the mobile app?

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Also, i'm having big plans for my future story. It's going to be something new definitely, but something that needs alot of work on it. It's going to be connected to Serbia , for the first time in my stories. Started planning it and making background story for it tonight, but it won't be finished any soon.

The problem with photobucket is that when I upload the images, whenever, wherever, half of them fail. Then I go put them in imageshack and they all succeed, first time. |

I've had that. Also, Photobucket's band size is ridiculous at times. |

I was wondering: Do people who write One-rider stories play only the races where their main rider participates (and thus quick-sim all other races) or do you also play other races now and then but just don't report on them in such detail?

Although I want to play them because quick sim always means we lose horribly, I want to keep the story going quickly so I don't.

It won't be long now with the 2014 DB out. Maybe I'll start the first day of march so if I do well enough I can be nominated for new story.
But in all seriousness probably this weekend.

Not to sound cocky or anything but I think that with A Day in the Life and Nordic Cycling finished I may have a shot at Story of the Month. Of course Karl Hammarling is still the favourite, and I'm not even sure I'll get nominated because of slowness, but still. Thoughts on other nominees?

Well, the Comeback can be nominated this time, but with so many people raging at Mre and sabotaging, you never know |

Depends on how much time I have and how I feel about the race

There's been a lot of variation over time and no "proper" way to do it.
Most of the times it's quick-sim then written up as either just a result or as a couple of sentences.
Sometimes it's quick-sim but people expand it to longer piece fleshing out the result with imagined events to make a more normal report.
Some people will still play the big races in 3D like they always do but just post the result or very quick summary. Others will expand that to a more normal report that just doesn't include the focus rider.
Equally there is no reason why you have to play all the focus rider races! If it's a warm up or a race/stage that doesn't suit them it's perfectly ok to sim it to keep things moving and preserve the motivation/excitement.
You'll know what works best for you pretty quickly and that is the best way to do it.

I'm never going to be "favorite" for that competition, because i only have like 10 readers compared to The Comebacks/Euskaltel/Novo with 1000 readers ()
If want an idea on nominees: The Comeback (probably 4/1 favorite), Gora Euskadi, Novo Nordisk, Karl and J.H.B. along with Melani or even O'Connor (February surprisingly quiet for some stories). Yes that's 6 stories but i'm not the one who makes the decisions.
New Story could be have been interesting though. Marko died out, Sagan very slow, Take Down and the 2014DB ones are very new. I guess it's going to be either Wallin or aCross the road.
Put it this way, we will most likely have our first Double winner! I think two of them (Mre and either Shonak or Atlantius)

Sub-plot to the competition!
We all know The Comeback is coming to it's end in about 20 episodes. That puts it ending sometime in mid/late March (roughly). Now if it wins this month (as i think it would do under normal circumstances) it can't be nominated when it finishes, and we all know that final season is going to be very good. So does it win February or do people hold it back until March and it's grand finale?
