Rojas became a van Avermaet in the past 2-3 years. Can pass climbs, but not a threat in sprints. |

He could always pass climbs. Arguably he used to climb better

Danny!!!!!
Wonder what he can do at the TdF. I'm counting on a win of course
Nah, wonder if he's able to be competitive with all the big guys being there.
Couple of Top 10s would already be nice
Why no Markus actually?

Too young? No, they don't care about that..
I hope they release Rujano soon. It doesn't look like they will let him race

I'd still say that Sky are stronger, but definitely an excellent squad.
I think you're overrating Szmyd, though. He has seemed to be in decline for the past year or so. Still a valuable team member of course, but I should think that both Amador and Castroviejo are better at the moment. Yeah indeed Kiryenka does more then the whole team movistar

As pointed out on the previous page, it's really not a positive thing for him. He's way, way too young to ride a GT already.

I don't think he can make Top 3. He's not on Conta, Purito, Valverde Quintana etc. level.
+ He has to work for Froome I suppose.

So looking forward to having some time off for stages 18 and 19 for 2 big mountain stages that have TV coverage from start to finish.
Having said that the freaky weather continues with flooding putting some of the (earlier) Pyrenean stages at risk apparently so never say never there might be 10 feet of snow at 1000m in July yet! |

If he didn't had to work for Froome, he would probably finish top 5. And the answer would always be''marginal gains''. |

I think he can top 3 as current form makes him a much better TT than those guys but it is unlikely. Am sure Sky will try for the same approach with Porte being the back up plan this year, so they will want him hanging in as much as possible after any exertion for Froome and riding the TT's hard plus they could even 1-2 it with attacks a few times.

I'd say it's possible. Will depend on whether Contador, Purito, Valverde and the others are willing to take risks or not.

What the hell lets be proved totally wrong (again) and say Froome, Contador, Porte for the podium in that order |

Porte should be the best bet for a 3rd place this season if he wasn't working for Froome (Perhaps he will be anyway). I really can't see any riders besides Froome and Contador that will end above him as a given.

I'm very sure Porte will be in the top 10 this year, but not on podium. He's really develloping to be a good GC-rider, might have a chance at the Giro next year if Nibali won't be riding it. |

I don't believe in porte i the top 5, partly because he is going to work for Froome and partly because there's so many good captains there. I Think that the top 5 would look like something like this:
1. Froome
2. Contador
3. RodrÃguez
4. Van den Broeck
5. Valverde

Van den Broeck always gets 4th
I wonder why so many people have Valverde as favourite for top 3/ top 5 though. |
