I'd buy that, it was possible in the 80s when he started.
But I don't buy it from Sorensen. Not from a guy who improved massively the second Ariostea started using EPO, and above all not a guy with his massive ego.
According to Sørensen himself he started working with Cecchini during his time at Fanini (1986-1987). That's where he turned prof and also were i he got his first major win, Tirreno–Adriatico (1987).
I don't see any rapid improvement anywere, but I think working with Ceccheni is a good indication that he used doping his entire professional career.

Radioshack pulls out as a sponsor at the end of the season, citing as reasons:
- Paying large amounts of sponsorship for a team that never wins anything (you had Bruyneel as team manager, why did you expect to win anything other than the occasional GT dumbasses? Do your market research),
- The constant doping scandals involving team riders and directors (you hired Bruyneel and the Schlecks, dipshits, what did you think was going to happen?)
- "Star riders not achieving the desired exposure" (translation: Andy doesn't win anything. What a shock)
The unofficial word going around the peloton is the team will end.

Well, good news and bad news at the same time. Good news is that finally Schleck will be without a fuckin' team that only work's for him. Bad new's is that young riders like Jungels, Sergent and other's will be free agent's next season. But still, what did they expect when they signed Bruynell? Maybe there we're hoping he gave the rider's the ''secret formula''. |

What about BMC? They're Swiss, right? Or wouldn't it work with Gilbert, Van Avermaet and Hushovd? |

How many riders to Sky
This cannot come as a shock to anyone really though. Worried about to wider implications,, such as whether a new team will appear, flooding of market with riders etc.

Immediately with the suggestion that Sky will take the riders from the dope scandal team. Unbelievable. Why do you hate Sky so much?
That's my CLURPR impression

Hardly surprising. They wont be missed by me at least.
Cancellara to IAM seems likely. He'd have a team fully dedicated to him instead of one that focuses mainly on stage races.
Wherever he goes, I hope he wont bring the Schlecks.

Schleck back to Saxobank where he can work for Contador
No seriously, I have no idea which team would be interested in Schleck in this phase.
Who says that this team will end to exist anyway. Maybe they will find another sponser, or we get a Blanco 2. |

I guess some team with a dark and blue jersey could turn an alcoholic into a G.T. winner.
That wouldn't shock me so much, it's been déjà vu after all... |

Just thought I'd write a few things about cortisone here...
So... let's imagine a very good rider in his speciality, but not a world-beater however.
Imagine he suddenly starts using truckloads of cortisone. He feels a little less pain during efforts, gains some more power, and confidence. That'd turn him into a world-beater, right ?
Now, let's imagine that for whatever reason he'd stop using cortisone... His body has stopped producing cortisol (the human produced cortisone, more or less), which happens whenever one takes cortisone. So, he goes back to being a good rider, but not even a very good one any more.
It takes his body almost a year to produce cortisol again and only then he becomes a very good rider.
Sounds familiar, eh ? |

A. Schleck's become a very good rider again ? That's tomorrow's news at best.
I'm referring to a doctor who worked or works for a team where the rider I (did not) mention was, and who's already won an incredible number of races this season. |

From your first cortisone post I was sure you were [not] talking about Gilbert, but your second post confused me somewhat.

A. Schleck is a very talented rider who started to use a bit too much alcohol.
