Slagter! Hopefully he will develop into a very good puncheur.
Also, very nice effort by Tanner.

What happened to the boring flat stages?
Nice job done by the Slagter Tanner duo, way to upset the sprinters there. It reminds me of Manuel Cardoso win here a few years ago.
But that young riders jersey... jesus... kill it before it lays eggs!

Flat one tomorrrow. It's the TDU people, it's supposed to be like that. All these hills are ruining the fun!

Greipel takes over from McEwen as stage win record holder with his 13th.
Provisional standings have Slagter losing 25s together with some more, but some crashs occured the last 3k.
Parked cars at the sides even inside the last kilometre not directly causing one, but Impey flew head first into one by the looks. Doesn't seem too hurt though.
Thomas denied bonus seconds by Brown twice behind the break made up of Howson and, surprisingly, Gilbert.

Fenn was 4th. That last crash didn't look too good.

That's a big call. He has been riding better than ever but I don't think he is even close to as good as Greipel. He also doesn't have a lead-out train at all.

I guess I will wait and see what happens tomorrow. For crashes or anything.

I believe it is about 14 hours away so whatever that works out as. But yes I believe it is very late at night in Europe.

Or very early in the morning. But yeah I think the previous stages finished around 5am CET, so it should be more or less the same. So thank you cyclingtorrents.

In Britain it's 2:30 am coverage starts around a 3:45 finish so for Belgium you'll be about 3:30am start 5am finish

This time it's extended coverage though, seems to be from 1:30am to 6:00am CET tonight.
