Oh well, at least 2nd is also a good result, and Valverde rode well the entire week. |

I agree with the others, 2nd place is very good for Valverde, even when Mollema is quite a surprise winner for me. I will try to do the same with Sagan i my story, so you can stop by in few days to check how it went.

Thanks a lot everyone. I thought I could do it, but 2nd is still great for this time of year. I love that you guys enjoy the screenshots so much T-A Up now
Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 5
The report starts at the summit of the second to last climb. The main group has shrunk to a group of 32 riders, including all the favourites, and Purito, as well as 2 other Caisse riders to support him.
Now we get to the final climb, and the group is struggling everwhere, but its about who can set aside the pain and just go. Right now its nobody, but the pace setters will tire soon.
The first move is made by Fedrigo with Rodriguez following him. They are both clear by about 30 seconds at one point, but the others put on a chase, and catch them with 2km to go, leaving a group of 10 in the lead.
Horner makes his move just outside of 1km and never looks back to get the win, while the others are spread out. Rodriguez finishes over a minute back, but is still in the GC picture, with his high finishes.

Rodriguez is doing good, considering it's still this early on the season. |

Not the best day for Purito but now he isn't in a good shape so we must wait it.
To be honest Horner is doing a great T-A so far...

At least Purito tried to do something, instead of just waiting. He could as well have done it to the line

Thanks once again guys! I still haven't really mastered the climbing in this game, since it basically seems like instead of using the dot to get away, you only get away for a short period and are then caught again, and out of energy when the others get away, but if I stay in the pack and then make my move late on, Im already out of too much energy (tips appreciated).
Also, After Tirreno I will be using my other reporting style, with a few stages in one report, to keep this going a little quicker than a snails pace.

I have the same problem with the dot and attacks, i can never manage to pull off an attack and win |

I'm sure you will overpass that problem, and get Purito winning on the high mountains sometime soon. |

Fast reports, after TA....
Tirreno Adriatico Stage 6
The stage had a large breakaway, with several big name hilly riders, like Nocentini and Vanendert, as well as Albasini and Fedrigo all in the breakaway.
Caisse tried to put on the pressure all day to catch them, but it was just a whisker too late, as Nocentini and Vanendert were able to escape from the other BOTD riders and settle it out for the win. Vanendert put on the pressure and made a small gap in the final km.
And he was able to get the win, ahead of the other riders, who narrowly beat the peloton, or finished up there with them.

Thanks a lot everyone!
Purito just needs to get a good result in the TT and its done. A pretty good month, I'd say for Caisse. Just MSR and a few other things left (and that PCM month only took about 3 real months )

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 7
David Millar one of the biggest favourites for the day, puts in a very solid time to start off with the favourites. But after a fair while, he begins to drop down rather quickly. He finished the stage outside the Top 25, a testament to the quality time trialists at the end of the starting order.
The favourite for the stage was Lars Boom and he didn't disappoint. He demolished the best time at the time check, and also took the top spot at the finish line. He was powering down the course for the whole 8km's and certainly proved the bookies right. Thomas ended up in 2nd to Boom, just 3 seconds down.
And finally we have Rodriguez, who just has to ride a good TT in his own right, and he will be able to keep the Top 10 that he has. The start, he begins a little too fast, so in the middle of the course, he slows down a bit, and his time check is not very good. He ups his pace, and sprints to the line. He actually only finishes 40 seconds down on Boom and is able to keep his Top 10, so a good ride for Purito!
