.. and if Cav did that.. respect. But having Boasson Hagen in front will almost make the victory sure. That guy is machine.
No EBH in front, Cav said do your own thing with 5km to go as total chaos with GC riders up there as well. Looks like he got it right this time. |

Really happy that Goss is up-there. Greip and him will fight for green.
How Riis managed to give away Goss?
He was obviosuly a beast after the MSR. He's been underrated ever since, good to see him getting recognition finally.
EDIT: I won another bet, solid 40$ for me tonight.

With a kilometre to go, Cavendish was completely out of it. Sky has messed up. Hagen was riding along close-ish to Cav, but not helping.
But then, to save the day, a Greenedge rider comes surging forwards. Cav hops on, and is delivered to Greipel's wheel!
And a good close sprint for victory.

Can someone explain to me what the hell has happened to Tyler Farrar? I know he focused on the classics (why?), but he's struggling for top tens. He one last years stage 3, now he can barely compete.

Haha, agree. That's lame. Wonder what hill happen if Chris Anker takes the stage victory at La Touissuire and polka? |

Never been the same since that elusive TdF stage came. Not sure how much the death of WW played a part too? |

Julian Dean, imo. Its more than that though, but Dean was one of the best leadout men in the world. Garmin had a more commited sprint train in the past too.

Was Lancaster picked ahead of Dean for Orica?

Well that plays a big part, but right now, he is pitiful. And Hunter isn't a bad leadout man, just not Dean's level.

Can't believe Rogers chased back and finished within the peleton after that puncture. Good for him.

Dean broke his leg, or something similar
kinda difficult to ride
edit: yep, broke his leg in the Tour of Catalunya

The thing with Farrar is, he has never really been the fastest. He has always had a great leadout from Garmin to put him in position, but usually ends up going backwards from there. Yes, he won a TDF stage - but there was a crash that took some out of the way, and held up Cavendish.
Without even a sprint train to put him at the front, Farrar is going to struggle this year. I suspect Garmin have realised that he is unlikely to win whatever they do, and now they have a GT winner in their team which is more important.

Ok.
Compared to what he did two years ago, it is. From one of the three best sprinters in the world to a very average one.

Nice duel between Cav and Greipel there. Orica put Goss in a bad position, he did well for his third. Veeler's 4th combined with Kittel's potential should get him a stage win at some point, a bit of bad luck there, but still shows that Argos's lead out is working somewhat.
