Thanks for the quick response. Touch interface as in touch screen? Don't have that Got an Acer Aspire 3830T.
Are there any shortcomings with Fast Editor for PCM2012? I might try it out if there's no making yours work, but I've been coping like this for a while no so it's not the end of the world either. |

I don't know what exactly causes it. if you really want to know, then you would need to search old threads about my editor and/or season planner. But even if you don't have such a thing, it could be that the software is installed on your computer.
Don't ask me about other editors. I guess this thread isn't looked at often, so if you want to know, then better ask in an own thread. |

I don't see anything. Why don't you just attach the picture to your post?
And if you got an error, then there should be a file called Error.txt. Please copy the content from that file to your post too. |

No need to quote your post, I don't see the image.
But according to the error a folder is missing.
Make to sure to extract the archive correctly which means including the subfolders.
If you can't do that, then create the folders yourself. It should look like this:

The problem was that he didn´t "create" and/or extracted those 2 subfolders (the Data and GridLayouts) correctly after extracting the archive. The subfolders aren't in the archive either. But by the way after I made the GridLayouts map the problem got solved. Thanks. |

The problem is caused by a character which is not valid within the XML specification. I cannot tell you if that character comes from the DB or because you entered a strange team name. The only solution is to use another editor, I guess the fast editor is the only editor because the editor from Cyanide might have the same problem. |

Thanks a lot for advice. You're right with the strange character, I thought that, but I waited until I have signed new sponsor, my thoughts was that it could solve the problem.

Let me quote myself from another editor thread.

I have the original pcm fast editor that comes with pcm 2012 (with the names of the riders/team all wrong etc). Therefore I obviously want to change their names on pcm fast editor. whenever I try to save a database table pops up could Problem Finder and it shows a table with a whole list of problems and once I save it the database doesn't appear on the options menu in the actual game:
Can someone help please?

There is no fast editor which comes with the game. But according to your explanation in the parentheses you are not even talking about an "editor" because the wrong names are in the "database".
But if you have a problem with the "fast editor", please don't ask me or post in the thread of "my editor".
But it would be possible to download and use my editor instead.

had some issues with it on my new laptop. I have and enjoy PCM 2012. So I was wanting to edit a database to make a new team. Basically when I go into edit it, it crashes. It says
An error occurred
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation
Inner error
Item has already been added. Key in Dictionary:
Infragistics.Windows.Automation.Peers.DataPresenter.CellAutomationPeer
Keys being added:
Infragistics.Window.Automation.Peers. DataPresenter.CellAutomationPeer
What do I need to do to use lachi editor 2012? I really like this editor. |

You can try using the 2014 version, it works for any other game as far as i know

Generally matt17br is right, always use the latest Version of my Editor.
But in your case, it is a Problem with your Computer not my Editor.

Hey Laichi, sorry to bother you at this late date, but still having a blast with PCM 12 in 2024 season.
SO the in game editor does not load for me. It simply does nothing.
The editor that shall not be named was recently disabled by Norton, without even asking me, as it found something it did not like with the app.
I downloaded your editor here and it loads up fine, but as soon as I do anything with the tables (try to sort or scroll down) and error message pops up.
Here it is, and thanks in advance if you can help. If not is there something else I can use if I don't have Excel that runs macros?
