2nd CONVERSATION WITH RIDERS
Each individual rider has just gotten done having a conversation with the staff about there role in the team and what is expected out of them for this year:
Please note that it is the rider himself talking in each conversation
Here is the 2nd set of riders talking:
ANDREW TALANSKY:
"The best Time Trialist on the team!? Me!? I was so shocked to here that I am the best Time Trialist on the team out of all the talent that we have. One of the best Prologue and Mountain riders also is what I am told. This really excites me. The team feels that at just 23 years of age, I will be a future great. Boy do I hope that I get to stay on this team for years to come! I think I better go call my family and friends. There gonna be so excited to hear about me getting a chance to ride in a GT this year!"
JAKE KEOUGH:
"I was just informed that I am the best sprinter & acceleration rider on the squad. Pretty honored to know that. The team said they hope I can improve in the mountain category, and I am willing to make an attempt at that. I always hated mountains as a kid, and avoided them, which is probably why I am so weak there. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to the season to begin."
KEVEN LACOMBE:
"Being told that I rank in the top 3 on the team when it comes to sprinting, acceleration & flat riding is feels pretty good. Knowing that my hard work is paying off is something to proud of. The only concern I have is directly being told that I am the worst mountain rider on the team. Hurts my hears to hear that, but even I know that it is true. I hope that I can improve just a little bit because I know that I wont reach the top of the mountain first."
GUILLAUME BOIVIN:
"Being just 23 years old, I am happy about how the team feels about me. They think that my already fantastic sprinting abilities can be excelled even more. I am another one of them riders that lack in mountain skills, but everybody has there downsides, right? Anyways, I am very happy to get the season underway very, very soon ."
TAYLOR PHINNEY:
"I just got done meeting with the team staff, and they looked at me with a big shine in there eyes. Kinda freaked me out, but I am glad they see an excellent future in me. They told me I am downright the best when it comes to flat, time trial, and prologues. I am very happy in what my role is on this team, and the season can't come fast enough for me!"
DAVID VEILLEUX:
"The team has told me that they expect great things out of me. One of the better fighters on the team, they hope that I can go out on a few attacks or breakaways to help others on the team. Whatever they need from me I am sure I can make them happy!"
HUGO HOULE:
I just got out of my team meeting, and the team thinks I will be a good fit this year. My good personality and attitude should bring a smile to the others faces, lifting there morale. My all around attributes will also hopefully be improved in the coming months or years so I am able to be a fierce competitor! Can not wait for the season to kick off."

STEVEN COZZA:
"I'm glad to finally be back into the cycling world! As you all know, I was benched in February and was highly devastated that I would be missing action. But not anymore! I am so happy to be on my bike again and my prologue skills should come in handy according to the staff! At 27 years of age, I hope to get 10 more years out of my cycling career, unless my illness returns (cross my fingers!). Well, I will see you guys when the season starts!"
BERNARDO COLEX TEPOZ:
"Hola, Senor! Me so happy to get the season underway very soon! My English is not the greatest, so please excuse me. Me and Flavio are going to be sticking together this year, and I hope to mentor him because he is still a young gun! I am going to be as much of a fighter as possible, so get ready too see this man win!"
FLAVIO DE LUNA:
"I am so very happy to get the season kicked off. I don't have many words to say, but the team said they want to give me a few years to develop, and want the Mexican world to root for Sunkist Cycling, which I do indeed highly suggest? "
BRENT BOOKWALTER:
"When it comes down to it, the team admitted that I am not one of the greatest on the team. Worst on the team mountain wise, but yet best or one of them at least when it comes to Time Trial's and the prologue race. Anyways, I am just so happy to have a spot on the squad and I can't wait to get the season underway!"
LAWSON CRADDOCK:
"The young blood of the squad, only being 20 years old. These guys sure make me feel young too! . I obviously need to work on alot of things, and I surely will. So check out my progress in about 15 years and see where I am at!"

The team goals have been announced for this year!
The major 2 goals include a top-5 in Paris-Nice
and a top-10 in the tour de Vuelta
some other goals include winning a national championship in USA or/and Canada.
Top 5 - Milano - San Remo
Top 5 - Tirreno - Adriatico
