14 Points....
No one else thinks Russia will win?
No one else knows Lenstra?
No one else thinks Dzagoev rocks?
No one else said Inter?

Why will Germany win the Euro?
They didn´t showed that much until now... just lots of luck..
Imo Portugal is one strong contender, unfortunally they get lazy when they lead..... CR7 will shine against Holand...why shall Pele or Maradona be the best player of all times? if they play now they wouldn´t do even half what they did... different football, was more slow and open.... the most complete player is C.Ronaldo...
A.Fergunson....
What has he won?.. J.Mourinho achieved something that no other trainer will achieve in near future.... Messi... would he play for another team, he wouldn´t make what he makes at Barcelona...

Sure, Alex Ferguson, didn't achieve much... Just winning the European Cup Winner's Cup with Aberdeen against Real Madrid... Winning the Premier League 12 times in 18 years... Two Champions League triumphs, one of them being part of the Triple... Who's that Ferguson guy anyway?
Now add to that all the amazing players that he developed, the consistency of his work (I mean Mourinho is around since when, 10 years?) and the fact that he achieved all that with a club that works actually economically responsible and you can't see past it

Alex Ferguson (only with Man Utd):
12 domestic titles
9 domestic cups
3 european cups
and other countless awards
Jose Mourinho (total)
7 domestic titles
6 domestic cups
3 european cups
Should I go on?

To be honest, I didn't go for Ferguson because of what he won. Spending so many years at such a big club is an achievement itself.

Great round for me, although Xavi didn't impress me a lot recently.
This one will be difficult, gonna take myself some time to thoroughly think about the possible answers.

He won that within his "80" years as a trainer... Mourinho is 43( or close) and won half already...wait to see him break all those numbers from Ferguson...
Mourinho wins that with different clubs...something that i´m 100% sure Ferguson wouldn´t ever achieve... i´m not taking any credits from Ferguson and what he achieve,(imo he´s a great coach).

To be honest, that's exactly why I favour Ferguson. He does this job for ages, and never thought about leaving ManU.
Sure, Mourinho might be more versatile and lead some more clubs to the top, but in these times where football is more and more about huge amounts of money put into single clubs to force success, often related to a steady flow of players and coaches in and out, he's a nice constant.

Mourinho is actually 49 and Ferguson is 70.
But then again, let's point out what Mourinho will never achieve: managing the same club for 26 years.
I'm pretty sure Mourinho already is one of the greatest managers in history and that he'll beat Ferguson's records without any difficulty, but stop posting horse manure.
I hope this is the end of our offtopic. |

WHOO HOO ALL the top answers - well in what other round than football would i have been able to achieve that now its even worse that i have missed round one...
lets see what the next round brings
ps i really dont get how we can seriously discuss ferguson here: simply being the coach of a prestigious club like ManU since !1986! made him win that one

I got high score on all of them if I had known who Xavi is
Edit: And the Germany question. Spain won the World cup (The only time i watch football) so I thought...

The reason why so many people chose Germany is because they won 3 days ago. If they lose tomorrow, everybody will go for Spain again
Happy with this round though, 11th, almost top 10!
Edit: Moviestar question is hard.. Should I go historical or not?

This quiz is not about actual stats, but trying to guess what most people will write. |

Ferguson not achieving with other clubs? Promotion from 3rd tier to 1st in 3 years? Winning European Trophy with ABERDEEN. Yep, with poor and small Aberdeen. Put Mourinho onto Getafe. Will he won La Liga in 3 years? Or Europa League at least? |

Sent. I'm so glad i only lost 1 place after that round. Thank you Google for telling me Ferguson was the best manager ever! But who is Xavi?
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.
