As I see it, it's Evans vs. Wiggins in the Tour.
I just can't see how Schleck will come even close with the huge amount of TT kilometers. He won't make up a couple of minutes, even if he drops both Evans and Wiggins big time on both La Toussuire and Peyragudes.
There's too much TT and not enough climbing for Schleck. He should've gone to the Giro instead. He could have won that, but not the Tour.

I would be in bad situation fan wise, as i dont like Schleck, Wiggins and Evans much, but there is almost no one to save me, go Sammu!

Tony Martin and Rein Taaramae are having good chances too for a top 15 or maybe even 10, IMO.

Martin as not decided yet to became GT rider. If he does..he will be top 10 rider. But now he is still that power monster.
Taaramäe tour is still hugh question mark after Castilla crash and broken elbow. |

What a pathetically dull race.

I hope he will not be the leader of OPQS this year, this must be the job for Velits besides Levi maybe, i think he could have a good shot at top 10, when finally it will not be all about Cav.

Theoretically, yes, at least at first sight. But in the end it's the riders that decide the race. Andy Schleck has shown last year that he can attack from far (before the last mountain) when he really needs to. Of course if all riders are dumb enough to wait for the last mountain or the ITT to make time differences, it's going to be complicated for the Schlecks and their likes. |

But just because there are many TT kms and not many mountains, I think Martin can ride a good tour. As you can see in my nickname, I am not a Martin fan, but I'm just being realistic.

He can ride a good Tour, ie. winning the ITTs, holding the MJ for a week and getting a top 50 no doubt.

Both Velits and Leipheimer are very good time-trialists also and way,way better than Martin in the mountains. So as Kumazan says, stage wins and maillot jaune for the first week should be the targer for Martin imo.

I totally agree. Martin has shopwed he can hang in the mountains for a week, but not 3 weeks. OPQS have much better options in Leipheimer an Velits for the GC.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

A Rabobank fail anyone could see coming
Mollema is just past his peak after being in topform for almost a month, he's in need of a rest
Kelderman is too young for such a powerclimb ITT (he's 20 and neo pro)
Clement is not enough of a climber for such an ITT (still did decently considering he did a top 25)
LL Sanchez has never done a good time trial uphill for Rabobank, so why would he do so now...
Realistically only a good Mollema would have stood a chance of finishing top 5. And he was just over the top of his peak. Sadly!

It's only a fail because they all rode the prolouge well, then hung tough on the hills.
If they had done a rubbish prolouge then no one would have even noticed that they failled.

I'm reading that Wiggins has completed the Paris-Nice / Romandie double.....Can anyone tell me about this illustrious achievement? |

It's when you win Paris-Nice and Romandie in the same year.
