I don't know if thats true.. I mean if HTC/Telekom couldn't find any sponsor afterwards.. How can the Schlecks find one with at least ones Fuentes history? Also it's just a co-sponsor.. You can't run a team on just a co-sponsor.
Sounds too good to be true..

The team would allegedly be sponsored by Mercedes and Nutella according to reports in Germany. |

Martijn Keizer renews with Vacansoleil. It's the least they could do after riding in so many breakaways in the Giro if you ask me |

Mercedes wanting to stick it to the Hog? It'd make sense.

I agree, he was strong!
Vacansoleil's having a great season all around, I think they should renew all their contracts |

I agree, but they're still quite far down the ladder in the WorldTour Ranking. I mean, sure they did great with P/N and Giro, but that's litterally all they achieved so far in the WT this year. I'm really hoping that they'll score a stage win in the Tour, and a decent GC like between places 10 and 20. |

It's true they don't have many points. But, no offence to the team or anyone, they should be one of the weakest WT teams, and this year they almost compete with the best. But not all year round, of course. Still, I think they're having a nice season, and points don't say everything in cycling |

Expect some Rusvelo riders to find their way to Saxo. Firsanov is one who would be a good bet for them. |

Would be nice to see Rovny and Trussov moving there and reviving their career under Riis.

Oleg Tinkov said he wants Cancellara and Kiriyenka, but that it's ultimately up to Riis to decide. |

Sean de Bie ( 2nd Ronde van Vlaanderen Beloften) has an offer from Topsport Vlaanderen, but wants to wait for some WT offers.
Bryan Coquard and Morgan Lamoisson will turn pro with Europcar in 2013.

Imo, Argos-Shimano would be a good choice as well.

I think De Bie would flourish in a Flandrian team that is basically guaranteed entry into the races he would want to be getting time in (Ardennes classics, Eneco Tour to use his TT abilities). It also has a great track record of youth development and also a heap of Belgium's next wave of stars currently in their team (Declerq, Van Asbroeck, Serry, Wallays, etc).
Either way great news for De Bie. There was no way he was going to end this season without at least a Pro Continental contract. I think he might still need a year or two before he enters the WT teams so that he doesn't rush his development.

I'm not arguing against that at all.
I just say, if he doesn't get a place with TSV, Argos can get similar wildcards, has a training focus on young riders and there are no absolute leaders at his speciality.

Argos would be a great alternative. TSV should be first choice, though. |
