Sure, but they are both some of the best riders too, and I'm not sure there is anyone in their team who would be able to win if the breakaway doesn't manage to get the win. There is no point for them to ride against Voeckler even if it ends their chance, and btw Voeckler already did a lot of efforts to get Kom points and he was setting the pace most of the time...
(Ok I know I have a Voeckler supporter point of view, but still...)

Maybe they're annoyed with Voeckler because he tried to loose Hoogerland (and so the others) in the descent after KoM sprints.

Not what I meant, was looking for an explanation. I think they all should work together and fight it out for the stage win. Voeckler will get the yellow or he won't.
