No. The competent ones got fired a couple of years ago. That's why I prefer listening to David Harmon. But I'm sure they weren't saying such a thing.

We have two competent cycling commentators (Comsa and Hovko for arthon) , but one of them is missing and the other one was saying about Pozzato might have a chance in GC. The competent one said immediately: NO CHANCE! |

Wasn't mine, so you didn't answer the question. My question was how you guys thought he would perform. Not whether or not he would beat Wiggins, because it was quite clear that if Evans couldn't noone could.

Richie Porte in white jersey for the best young rider tomorrow.
EDIT: I wanted to mention that he rides really great in his first pro year.

Actually none of them is competent since they both see cycling news like a great cycling site
Anyway great ride by Wiggins, Bookwalter and Van Emden today. Can't wait for tomorrow's stage to see some action in the sprint

You`re right. I forgot him. But nonetheless i guess that Greipel has still better chances, but we will see tomorrow. |

Very good from Evans and Vinokourov. Nibali did well too.
Basso and Sastre not bad.

Most of the Top15 favourites did exactly what you expected of them. Just Caisse with especially Brusegin were quite weak in my opinion.

Well i'm not defending them, but they aren't such as bad as we try to tell. Anyway, interesting to see in stage4 how much time BMC will lose, because the BMC riders (except Bookwalter and Cadel) rode a poor ITT yesterday. |

not to mention that when they saw the customized helmet of Garzelli they said it's a little cat. As for the giro, in my opinion cadel will be second as always. Caisse seems the strongest team in the mountains, but with bruzeghin top 10 seems a dream. Anyway it should be fun and spectacular to watch. |

I really think that Caisse won`t have anyone up in the last mountains. Bruseghin, Uran and Arroyo. The strongest team is Liquigas in my eyes. Nibali and Basso are good for top 5. Agnoli and Szmyd can be good helpers. Especially if the go for Basso many riders won`t be able to follow Nibali`s speed. Maybe not even Basso

Because of the Eyjafjallajökull new ash cloud they had to close some airports in Northern Italy again. They still hope that they can travel by plane on the first restday. Otherwise they had to take a bus

yeah, the volanic ash is back.
They have high speed trains in italy right? I'm sure a race this size will have a backup plan.

Over the summer I got the overnoght train from Milan to Paris, I think it took about 10 hours, the Netherlands to France is no more than 1 or 2 hours on high speed trains, so with a rest day I can't see them not making it in time.
