That is one SHITTY result. How on earth can a decent TT'er lose 50 seconds on 10kms. 8th for Samuel Sánchez is NO way near good enough, and loosing shit loads of points on Wikipedia and Rabobank doesn't make this one bit better... We need to get a killer result in the Pais Vasco to cut back into the top. But first is Ronde where we will lose even more ground... Not good at all...
Okay lets swap results. No? Thought not
Consider that Coppel is 11 TT stats better than Sanchez, even without a national boost.

6th and 8th in GC is very accetable. Too bad 3rd was all Rogers could do..
still, bigger time differences then expected.

Whoot. 44 points for Phinney in the GC alone, and another 14 for Boom. Plus 5 for all the rest of the team that finished. I like this scoring system, just keeps ticking you along, even if you do nothing but show up with 7 guys. And luckily in races with TT's I can normally do a bit better than just show up. I can't wait until next season (already) purely so show off Phinney with his rather high stats

Rankings
They close in on the cobbles and now leap back into the lead, Wikipedia making the most of Coppel and Zabriskie with La Gazetta slipping to 2nd despite Michael Rogers. Rabobank jump up to 3rd, pushing Festina and Warner Brothers down to 4th and 5th. British Airways jump up to 17th from 12th, with Accumalux slipping back into the Bottom 2 but it remains close with only 300 pts separating 8th and 17th.

I know it is still early, but there has been a couple of races, (atleast enough to gather an opinion) so who do you think will be the pro tour champion this year (individual & team). And who do you think will be relegated.

yeah, i have absolutely nothing going in the giro so at that point i will just hope not to loose to many spots. Although Zabriskie didnt win it was a good result to do a 1-2 in the TT and place so well in GC. I don't really see the team being able to contend for the title, but now im beginning to wonder about a potential top 5.

12th for Kreuziger is good, but had Hagen used common sense he should've Top 10ed easily. Very dissapointing result by him. That's the second dissapointing race for him in a row, hopefully he will finally get his consolation in Basque Tour, but Sanchez is going to be a tough nut to crack.
