St. Pauli crushed at home by Bayern Munich, with the result of 1-8 at the final whistle. O.o
Actually, I don't know if I should be happy or sad, St. Pauli were relegated, but then again, Bayern got their Champions Play-off spot. :/

1. round in the bundesliga this weekend. My fellow Norwegians with two diffrent starts. Ståle Solbakken lost his debut as trainer for Køln 0-3 against Wolfsburg.
While Mohammed (Moa) Abdellaoue and Henning Hauger (Hannover 96) won their match against Hoffenheim 2-1, with Moa as match winner with his 2-1 goal on penalty.

Although I am happy that Bremen and Hannover won, you can`t call Abdellaoue the match winner. He wasn`t that great as the complete match wasn`t that great. |

Close win for my fellow 96ers against a very weak Hoffenheim squad. Schlaudraff was good, but with a controversial first goal, Ya Konan was missing with all his versatile moves at front. Not to convinced with Hauger yet, had the impression he slowed our counter attacking game to much down when he came on, long season to come though. Hope Pander stays uninjured. Good to see Bremen winning the start of the season. I really wish T.Schaaf a real good season and he doesnt get in trouble again.
Really did like Okazakis goal, nice shooting technique. |

Ouch for Schalke... championship starts aren't really good for them... Borussia started well their title defence. Großkreutz very well yesterday. |

I was watching the Køln match so i can't say anything on how good he was, but he is a match winner in the form of that he scored the decisive goal. At least that's what we call a match winner in Norway, man of the match however is something totally different.

I think you just need to give him some time, he is a great midfielder and he just need to get used to the league. The Norwegian league is... how shell i put this... IT SUCKS. So if you give him some time i think you will like him.

Mainz and Hannover again in the top, both with 6 points. Today Leverkusen beat Bremen in the final 5 minutes, goal by Kadlec. I know you're upset, roturn. |

Not as much as I should probably.
It was deserved and imo Bremen has to find their new system. Same with Hamburg. Both teams need 1-2 seasons of changing into a younger team. It`s a process that can bring big success as Dortmund proved.
With players like Bargfrede, Thy, Stevanovic`s, Ignoyvski and many other young talents they are on a good way. Also Hamburg is rebuilding most of their players.
So a top9 result in the end would be good for Bremen, top6 would be awesome as this would men qualification for Europa, but most important is to get rid of the old and expensive players to change with hungry talents.
But as I am living close to Hannover, I am still pretty happy at the moment.

My favourite club 1. FC Köln.. Oh my never seen a that bad season start from them (and as a fan I know it's their worst start in a season ever) with 1:8 goals and 0 points
I think Solbakken is a good coach, but even not Mourinho and Guardiola wouldn't be able to do well in Cologne..
They haven't really bought anyone, the best 11 is still a disgrace and the coach sets up a tactic he is used to not set up a tactic with the player he has for.. Podolski still runs almost nothing even though he runs 9km per game, he ran the least km so far of an player if you take out defenders and goalies and oh my.. Without Podolski and Rensing (and last season effort of Schäfer), Cologne would be at the 2nd Bundesliga which would be the best for the club as the manager is not good, the president is some 70ies kicker who played for that time well but at this time he wouldn't be even close to 2nd bundesliga
I can't stand the fact they bought someone for a lot of money (they don't have) instead of getting 5 players.. You don't even have to look in Japan for bargains..
At the moment if I would coach Cologne.. I would make a tactic that no one has seen in modern football
The central defenders of Cologne should stay at the goalie as they aren't able to play for offside and so they have to stay infront of the opponent players as they aren't fast enough.. And I would be one of them
Hamburg with the 2nd Chelsea.. Bought some players who never done the jump from the 2nd to the 1st team, I don't get why Arnesen bought Mancienne..
Bayern struggles so far I think, but now they have the "Bayern Dusel" with getting the win in the last minute which they did in the 90ies and early 2000 and they won a lot in this period
As a football fan, you have to follow Dortmund
They used their financial problems from the past to renew the team and went for the youth and bargains..
And with Kagawa, Götze, Barrios (ok he was expensive..), Hummels (I don't have any idea why Bayern let Hummels go.. Even in the youth he was a very promising player who would play in the national team) and a lot more they are really successful
They will play Champions League this season and I look forward how this team will play against the European Elite
Mainz 1st.. Oh my I thought they would go down with Augsburg this season to the 2nd Bundesliga.. And even Augsburg seems to avoid relegation at the moment even they haven't bought anyone

It's still to early to say if a team's going to be relegated or not... I can think of some teams who started well the championship and ended relegated in the end of it. (Eintracht last year, if I remember)
But I think Mainz can get a top-10. I don't think they have such a bad team. |

So, the Dinosaur is still alive. Its a shame Cardoso doesnt get a chance to train the first team for a longer time, he is quite succesful with the amateur team and they win today. Cardoso was one of my favourite players in the 90's. A modest, cool, calm person. Lets see if Stevens can keep the hsv in the Bundesliga. |

He can't train the team because of a missing "A-license" As a fan of Hamburg, I hope for Stevens now!

I just didn't understand Hamburg's transfers this summer season, Mancienne, Bruma, Tore, nearly all of them came from Chelsea reserve team... Not the case of Mancienne, but he played there too. |
