Not a good race for us at all so far... And I can't see how we should turn it around? Perhaps Mundle can get more KOM points from a break, but it seems unlikely. Or maybe Granigan can perform a miracle and somehow improve his GC?

Hum. For now we are with the main groups, but not really able to pull of something great.
Let's see what we can do in the last stage.
Thanks for the reports so far!

No miracles from Mundle or Granigan in S3, but at least Nikiema moved closer to top 10 in the GC, which could be an acceptable outcome.
Not sure why Smit worked in front of the group with more than 30 km to go though, as we didn't have anything to defend nor a favorite for the stage.

Aaaah, horrible horrible stage by us.
From having some riders decently placed in GC, now everything has been teared apart, with everyone several minutes behind, not even top 100 and rock bottom on the team ranking.
What a disappointment by the team.
Thanks for the good quality report nonetheless. |

Really good to grab that podium with Svab. And good to see him racing for himself for once considering he has been our only guy in the last group in multiple hilly races. Beltran with a good finish too and into the top 10. Exactly what I was hoping for. Fingers crossed Beltran can move up some more in the last stage as well as Svab and Yates. Thompson 2nd in youth is also a really nice surprise. Hopefully he can stay there as that will be very valuable points for us!
Congrats to the winner!. The smaller roads absolutely helped out with keeping the peloton bunched up. Another great report! Thanks Seancoll!

Nice to see Eiking rocking out, even if it isn't in our colors.
For us, major disappointment to loose touch with the front group and surrendering the GC lead. I had hopes, folishly enough, that we could hang on until the last day.
Another great report, thanks Seancoll!

What a tag team by Korosec and Govekar!

Well not the GC I was hoping for. We seemed in a great position towards the end of the stage but could not convert. Still a few riders up there which means a few different points to add, plus a higher teams finish and not a bad youth finish. Not a bad race and I think we may just hit 10PpRD which will be fantastic.
Congrats to the overall winner and for 4 excellent reports! Really enjoyed the race!

First of another great report, thanks Seancoll!
Congrats to Trans Looney Tunes for the GC win
We "stole" 2nd there. The Hill comps. are allways a spin of the wheel.

Awful, just awful.
There were close to zero highlights throughout the four stages. In S4, Nikiema missed the cut again, but this time it was Laas who, for some unknown reason, stayed with the leaders, just like Granigan had priority previously. Mundle hit the break again but did nothing. Why not send someone else when Mundle didn't have the legs in S2 or S3?
Oh, well. Frustrating times for the team, but I guess the manager is to blame. Perhaps the race selection was flawed, or maybe the team composition doesn't fit the selected races.
Congrats to the winners

Good try to come back from Pacher, but this stage was always too difficult for him I think. So S1 time loss by Lafay hurt us big time.
Thanks for the report though, and congrats to those who did well.

Update: I was completely wrong in terms of points Its at like 4.5PpRD.
Still thanks for the race. Time gaps were frustrating for sure

First of all thanks to sean for the great reports and congrats to tinxia for a great result overall!
For our race: it's always a bad sign if a stagiaire is the only one scoring points, though it's been a really good race from Baudin (though not from our actual leaders).

Welp, that'll mess up my PpRD ratio - onto Hong Kong then.
And congrats to the winners and to seancoll for the reports

Appreciate the reports Sean and the time that's gone into them,
Think this is a good example of if we have the 0s time gaps problem, the race probably needs replaying as it's had a huge impact on the GC for me.
Grosser lost over 1min that day in a usual stage he would have at least been given the ST as Guerriro and probably Korosec as well as I believe 8 or 12s is the cut off depending on the parcour.
With that time Grosser is pretty much 6th overall, a big leap from 10th, Moscon would have also jumped a few and what's been a bad race suddenly becomes a good team effort.
The good news is this isn't going to affect my season, but I think in theory this could have had a massive effect on the standings for teams and in future probably needs addressing |

What a day for the team - stage win, 4 (!) in the top 10, and 2 top 10 GC placings. Bystrom was a little unfortunate losing time in an earlier split and could maybe have challenged the GC podium otherwise, but certainly no complaining about what is comfortably our best race of the season. Goncalves winning from the group of favourites would never have crossed my mind as a possible way to achieve our first win, but of course it's nice to see a domestique get rewarded for his hard work. Thanks for the great reports Sean and congrats to Tinxia for the GC win.
