Guadeloupe was never a great race for us, even with Halvorsen. Let's hope Vesely can get some bonus seconds for a better GC result

Great first stage, Nur Hasan rode really really well.
Second stage is pretty awful. The video shows what happens really well though - he had about 30 different wheels but wasn’t strong enough to stay on any of them. He was right on Ahlstrand and Anikowolski’s wheels right as they started their sprint and instead of following, had a really delayed reaction and swung out to the right. Terrible decision making, but something that happens. Definitely a fan of the sprint videos I think
Congrats Scorchio, Ewan living up to the hype so far.

Usual Guadeloupe for T3A - all our riders are drunk on the beach instead of racing.

Third top ten, make it a quartet and we have a great GC result coming out of this. Good to see so many (former) Minions around at the front, including protegees Major and Hodeg!

Great result on Stage3, and having Yechezkel also up there in the GC and the KOM is fantastic so far. Fingers crossed for the last stage.

Little to complain about here so far, Aniolkowski is doing a solid job, hopefully able to take a top 5 GC, and Manamalage with his bonus seconds may take some very valuable small points here

Another solid sprint from Farantakis here without his train. Very happy with the situation. Hopefully he can create one more solid result to come away with a decent points haul.
How is that Team GC calculated btw? Seems completely random between the teams in s.t., but the points aren’t irrelevant, so will they be calculated based on the 3 highest positions from each stage or what is the take here?

After all these years, I still have no idea how PCM does this, it feels completely random to me (except for S1).
For the ranking points, it's indeed the sum of Top 3 rider results per team and stage which is used as a tie-breaker. The calculation tool does this automatically, no matter what the PCM output is. Bonus seconds however have no relevance, as the plain stage time is used for team standings.

Really enjoy looking at the sprints- fascinating. I don't think Kennett is doing anything wrong- just doesn't have the team maybe, he might get a lucky break on the last stage

Not the best stage at all. Nur Hasan in a great position again, but went too early with the uphill finish. Hopefully he can get a good result tomorrow to finish the race strong.
Thanks for the reports!

Liu was again in the washing machine, but he came at the right time to the front this time Great result to move up some places to 11th in GC. And some minor points from Vanbilsen, that's all we needed this race.
Thanks roturn for the reports, really cool to see the sprint videos!
Congrats to Scorchio with the win and to DarkWolf with the big points haul in his survival battle!

For the first time ever, we come home from Guadeloupe with something. Well done Hugo! Seems like these uphill sprints were to his liking.
Congrats to those who did well and thanks for the reports roturn!

Can’t help but be disappointed here. The difference between a little bit of luck, and whatever the opposite of that is
Nur Hasan’s positioning has been great, the game seems to quite like him, and he participated in all 4 sprints which is great - but just never got that lucky break. He got taken out three times in the replay leading to the sprint, and then again by Ewan once the sprint had started and that was that. He needs to focus on strength training before his next race I think. One more half decent result and he could’ve ended in a really decent GC position.
Congrats to DW and Scorchip, good to see the two big dogs doing so well. Commiserations to lief, I have no idea what the game did to Demare in this race. Thanks for the reports!

First the Tour Down Under, now this? The game can clearly identify that he is a rider who ought to be doing well, he was a 3-star favourite on that last stage for Pete's sake. Yet, it doesn't position him as a sprinter, it doesn't make use of the train that we've brought along to protect him, but nor does it recognise his potential as a puncheur who just maybe could do with his team riding to secure a chance at the stage win... It is going to be a very difficult year if he continues to be completely absent.
Excepting us, it was very nice to see the best sprinters doing well. Congrats to the various winners and many thanks to roturn for producing the reports.

Not the best stage by Bonifazio, but I'll take 5th overall. Thanks for the reports!

F*cking great rum!
Not sure why every other team was bothering to race, was much nicer to do nothing at all on a Caribbean island.
Give it another 3/4 years and we'll be here to still do nothing, but at that time it'll be dissapointing.
