@jandal: Why thankyou! Indonesia and NZ aren't really that far apart, Firdaus taking a 12-month excursion to Auckland certainly isn't off the cards
@Fab: Look forward to it! And you never know, never say never
@redordead: Oh definitely, more than happy with that especially considering the training.
@Nemo: Thank you! I think he would like that A year being mentored by the Ukrainian TT god does sound good. We'll see about the promotion potential this time in a few weeks, i'm not so sure
@ Bikex: Thanks! It took a while to build it up, and it definitely felt like a slog the first few seasons. Being able to have 12/17 riders on our roster be from our home country is a good feeling and hopefully we can continue it into the future. I think building a Thai stage racing/TTT core around Mano (unless he wants to visit Indonesia sometime soon ) and Chaiyasombat would be possible and make Thailand a formidable nation in SE Asia for sure.
2023 was a year that saw a number of our young Indonesian riders take another step in their developments
Muhammad Yudha | Age: 25 | Puncheur | lvl 4 -> max |
| FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 69 | 69 | 75 | 66 | 74 | 72 | 70 | 55 | 65 | 73 | 72 | 68 | 67 |
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 69 | 71 | 77 | 66 | 74 | 73 | 71 | 55 | 65 | 75 | 74 | 68 | 67 |
Yudha spent his last season of development at now defunct PT outfit Binance. He spent his season supporting big names like Justo Tenorio and Michal Kwiatkowski, and even riding a grand tour. He returns to Indonesia with stronger, and with some unique experiences he can hopefully pass on to his teammates. He'll be a great support for our leaders throughout the season in any races where the road goes up.
Prasetyo Firdaus | Age: 23 | Time Trialist | lvl 1 -> 3 |
| FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 71 | 59 | 58 | 73 | 70 | 67 | 72 | 60 | 67 | 69 | 59 | 71 | 73 |
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 75 | 60 | 60 | 78 | 73 | 71 | 76 | 60 | 67 | 69 | 62 | 72 | 78 |
Prasetyo Firdaus took a big leap in his development this past season, where he also managed to score a decent 57 points as a measly neo-pro. He will be a part of our TTT setup this season, and will be an integral member of our team going forward.
Ahmad Firdaus | Age: 24 | Stage racer | lvl 3 -> 4 |
| FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 69 | 75 | 72 | 73 | 71 | 74 | 76 | 54 | 62 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 73 |
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 70 | 77 | 73 | 75 | 73 | 75 | 78 | 54 | 62 | 71 | 77 | 74 | 75 |
Ahmad Firdaus took another major step forward in his development, capped off with a great performance at the 2023 Tour d' Avenir. He has been following Eddie Dunbar's training regime almost to a tee and aspires to hopefully follow somewhat in his footsteps as the future leader of the team. He is also looking for a PT Loan, and is very keen to negotiate his new temporary home for this season.
Rachmad Noka Wibisono | Age: 25 | Stage racer | lvl 3-4 |
| FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 70 | 73 | 71 | 74 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 55 | 59 | 69 | 74 | 65 | 74 |
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 70 | 75 | 72 | 76 | 73 | 75 | 75 | 55 | 59 | 69 | 74 | 65 | 76 |
Wibisono had a quiet season in 2023 and made up part of our stage racing team. Like A. Firdaus, he'll also be after a PT Loan to finish his development. He's already a decently handy GC rider and can also slot into a TTT squad on a whim. Along with Firdaus, he'll make up a large part our stage racing core for years to come.

As the others have said: you've got a really strong core and a nice regional focus as well. It will be interesting to see what you've planned for transfers.

Season 2024 - Eddie Dunbar wins the PCT Individual Standings Eddie Dunbar wins the 2024 Post Danmark Rundt
After finishing 3rd in 2022 and 2nd in 2023, Eddie Dunbar has finally cracked the Da Vinci Code and finishes season 2024 on top of the PCT individual standings! He had his best season yet which totaled 7 wins (and a single points jersey he collected on the way), eclipsing his 4 victories from last season, of which has led to him to this amazing feat. Here's a snapshot of his results from this past season:
Eddie Dunbar PCT 2024 Results| 1st | PCT Individual Standings | | 2nd | ///// World Championship ITT | | 1st GC | Pais Vasco | | 1st GC | Post Danmark Rundt | | 1st GC | Arab Tour | | 1st Stage 3 | Tour of Norway | | 1st Stage 3 | Pais Vasco | | 1st Stage 5 | Post Danmark Rundt | | 1st Stage 3 | Arab Tour | | 2nd GC | Tour of Slovenie | | 2nd GC | Tour of Norway | | 3rd GC | Tour of Ukraine | | 7th GC | Deutschland Tour | | 14th | Chrono d'Arenberg | | 1st Points class. | Pais Vasco |
Dunbar showed a level of consistency this season that the team has come to expect from him. Dunbar's racing calendar was the topic of much debate pre-season, with the arrival of Spanish legend Justo Tenorio to the team as well as some key PCT racing calendar changes proving a challenge. Ultimately, he rode to the best of his abilities in each race he entered and racked up some impressive results ranging from his season opening 3rd GC in Ukraine and culminating in a wonderful 2nd place finish in the Worlds ITT in Scotland where he was beaten by the legendary Mads Wurtz.
After Ukraine, Dunbar took part in The Tour of Norway which he has had a good relationship with in the past winning the race last season. He rode an excellent race until the last stage, where the team decided to sit up and let the break take the win resulting in him losing his GC lead by 9 seconds on the final stage. Shades of Yates from the previous season, this set him up to go on a tear where he then excelled in Pais Vasco, Arab Tour and in Denmark. He went from strength to strength riding each TT better than the last (except Deutschland!) and finished the season somehow amazingly with the joint highest points tally in the team's history - 1197, a total he also shares with former legend Jan Bakelandts from our 2019 PT season.

After another sensational season from Dunbar, the team will now be riding in the PT next season - the first time since 2020. Eddie is very keen to continue his journey with the team into the PT next season and looks forward to the challenges that it will bring. Races like Praha and Tasmania are he's always admired, and he will now finally have the chance to take part in them against the best riders in the peloton.

Should have been obvious anyway but this season proves you made a good choice resisting all the advances on Dunbar, what a beast he was after that training. Going to come swinging at Wirtgen and the rest of the Pro Tour this year, not looking forward to having him there but I am looking forward to having you, congratulations, looking forward to seeing what you do in transfers

I'm not. Would have been a good reason for me to relegate, so I could still mostly avoid him Not many big points left behind Wirtgen and Dunbar in Tasmania et al. then.

Wirtgen vs Dunbar should be one of the headlines in PT this year. Great rider to have with you going into the division. The interesting thing will be how you build around him. Can Bagioli score enough points in PT to stay as your hilly leader?
You have a nice core of climbing domestiques and TTers, and pretty much all in a good age range aswell. Really looking forward to seeing how and what you do during transfers!

@jandal: Thank you for the lovely welcome It'll be good to see how we manage at the top level, I'm not thinking we'll be there beyond next season but we'll see how we go. The training was definitely worth it, now the only issue is resisting the temptation to continue with it
@WJ + Fab: Who knows, the transfer period is a funny thing - Dunbar could always get cold feet and request a transfer to a PCT team Wurtz and potentially Zmorka will be scary opposition afterall.
@Heine: Wirtgen is head and shoulders above Dunbar at this point - Dunbar has had a good crack against him in the past, but has never had any luck. He did get close againt him this season in Slovenie at the very least - maybe a pre-season training camp would help him
And those are both very good questions - We're in a strange place where we have a ton of cap space and can almost do whatever we wish. There's almost too many options to consider, so your guess is as good as mine as to how we'll build a team around him Bagioli was terrific last season, but i'm not sure how he will stack up in PT. With a bit of training he could be very interesting which is an option, and the previous game version did like him a lot - if the new version does, he could be good to keep around.

It must be so validating to have Dunbar dominate in such a way after you spent years building your team around him, and building him up directly with big investments.
I worry a little that the PT calendar isn't quite as suited to his rider type (I know this was an issue for Kamna, though obviously they're not even remotely comparable in terms of skill level). Hopefully with PTHC bands and everything, you can craft a schedule tailored to to his abilities and keeps him a top top asset. Interested to see what further training you envision for him with that in mind.

Congrats on a great season from Dunbar and the promotion. Well deserved.
Stannard proved he could complete at the PT level last year (think he was better than vs PCT), so maybe there is room for Bagioli who is pretty similar. If not maybe that Yates reunion can happen.

It's going to be very very interesting indeed to see how Dunbar fares against Wirtgen in - I'd suspect - every single race that suits him. The really interesting thing here is, can you fill out those 5 RD's that Wirtgen doesn't have with something that can make him win a race? If yes, then you have a top 15 PT point scorer on your hand already.
Bagioli is also ready for the PT I think. Not on the same crazy level as at PCT ofcourse, but he'll be a valued member of the team for sure.
And still a LOT of wage cap left to come charging. I see you as one of the promoting teams with the best ground to build for more than just survival.

@bbl: I agree, even with the ‘correct’ PTHC bands it does create some difficulty. I don’t think it would have been much better in PCT this season to be honest, each season the races that suit Dunbar are getting fewer and fewer. His provisional schedule at the moment for this coming season is actually not bad, but with the potential for further development that might change.
@UU:Thanks Glad we could get it done after last season, even though it was a disband promotion.
I think Bagioli could definitely work in PT for sure, but I think he’d need some smart planning at his current level. With a little training he would be quite similar to untrained Vansevenant and Standard, but that money could be better spent elsewhere. And maybe Yates could be a fun option for a couple of GT’s.
@Olfardh: Thanks I thought Oomen would have had him, he had a great season. And sorry about it
@SotD: That’s a good observation - those extra RD’s could be a good point of difference, but if Dunbar does have any further investment into his development it’ll eat into that which would beg the question of what direction to go with it.
Bagioli is a weird one - with the expected training of a few puncheurs this season, he’ll start off on the back foot even if he had any training. With the right schedule though he could be a very decent option though of course. And as you said, we do have a little bit of room to move cap wise even with no departures so there is a bit of freedom to do what we need.
