5th in the TTT is where I've beein seeing us, so that's good.
Berhane, Chiarello and APP maybe still to close to Mikkel.
Let's see what come next, thank you for the report!

Comgrats to hillis for the TTT. Lunke now the man to beat. We lost nearly 2 minutes, that could have ended worse though. Given the gaps from stage 1 APP now looks good for a Top 5 result as long as he can stay with the favourites in the real mountains. And I wouldn't mind if he creates some more gaps in stage 5 .
In any case the real fun starts now.

I'll bank the 3rd place knowing this isn't our best TTT set-up (oh god i'm already nervous for Monterrey). Plus we get to wear our first leaders jersey of the year! Gained a bit of time back for Canty/O'Connor but not as much as I hoped. Sets up an interesting few days for the race

I was expecting to be a bit underpowered in this TTT, considering that other TT specialists weren't there such as Stoenchev, Nsengimana and Henttala in order to give our loanees and stagiaires more experience. Yet, we were just shy of the Top 3 in the stage. Which is great, but there's conundrum opening up - Pavlic is now in the Top 3, but also in the KoM lead. Something must be sacrificed in this case.

Nice to see Leemreize in the break this time and making good use of it. Very happy with how the team are so active and with three riders high in the U25 standings.
Leemreize got overwritten by Sanikwathi in the KOM standings I think.
Congrats to Tirol and thanks for the report Ulrich.

Loving the Berhane - Chiarello battle here and in CT in general so far! Exciting stuff.

What a battle! Very happy that we have limited the losses in the TTT to a minute, little enough to be in yellow now after this dominant stage by Berhane. What a battle with Chiarello! Love it!
Also great reports Ulrich, thank you!

Well it was a glorius one-day in the lead Hopefully Mayer dropping off early meant he save energy and can go for the stage win tomorrow. O'Connor is fine, Canty did ok, but Tachira hurt so i'm wary a Top10GC is far from secured, let alone an outside shot at a double.

Good stage by Mikel to take 4th here, only behind obviously stronger climbers. We worked smartly when it was necessary, and didn't try to go where we couldn't (e.g trying to folllow Lunke to explode after).
Two stages to be serious now, and not lose everything. APP might be a threat tomorrow, and then Fabbro or Elosegui, but hopefully we'll manage to stay at the front.
Thank you for the reports Ulrich, congrats Blasing!

Not too bad so far, the last two stages will be vital in order to secure some good points here.
Thank you once again Ulrich! |

Wow, Berhane must have been on a fantastic day to put that much time into his competitors
Lunke and Chiarello on the provisional podium feels right, too - but I'm still looking forward to see if APP can challenge them on the hilly stage 5
Thanks for the reports so far, UU, great job as always

We have survived stage 5, good. Now it's one last stage, go Natnael!
I really hope that he can win this and I think it should be enough time gap to have a good chance.

Another great victory from Chiarello We're happy with a GC podium, but you never know with the last mountain stage.
A shame to see Iturria dropping from 4th to 8th on this stage.
Thanks UU for the reports!

The fight between Berhane and Lunke for the GC is really exciting.
Dyrnes fighted well and climbed a few spots, but tomorrow it's up to Garby I guess. If he have a really good day, maybe he could challenge for a top 10 GC-placement.
Thank you Ulrich, what a race! |

Are we cursed with this race? Lafay at the front is oe thing, even though we hadn't any chance of a stage result. But then with Iturria, Weinstein and Armirail, coming back should have been possible.
Welp, to work now. Getting back those seconds on APP and even the minute on Pavlic should be possible.
Thank you for the report all the same, Ulrich!

AI using Mayer as help for O'Connor instead of going for the stage win, oh well. O'Connor in that group where he could finish 5th or 10th, so an exciting final day incoming - i expect Ben somehow finishes 11th now.

Cool finale, with Chiarello showing he's by no means out of the GC fight yet! Hoping for a nice closing stage, especially given Lunke's and Chiarello's big advantage over Berhane in terms of recovery (although I don't think this will matter at all after just 5 days of racing).
Thanks for another nice report, Ulrich!

Awful race from us so far. Hopefully we can redeem ourselves a bit in the last stage
