Perfect by Kragh! That's two out of two so far this season. Very promising Now, let's get that flat stage done, and then hopefully get to use our whole team for the hilly/difficult stages here. After all there should be plenty of opportunities |

What a start to a throwaway race! We won't do much in the GC, probably not for attacks either, but a random sprint is always nice! #2 for Lutsyshyn already, improving on a last season quite a lot already!

A bit more road there and this could have been a great result for Van der Kooij. Still, it's good to see him involved and scoring some points too.

The top-5 of the prologue is made of the top-5 prologue riders, so AI-wise that's good to see I think. Congratulations ember on the stage win! For us a decent fourth and seventh by Sütterlin and Sterbini bring in minor points, which is all we could ask for. Not the best performance by Aular, but if he has one bad day this week, that was a good time to have it.
Second stage was fun to read. The legendary Quispe does what he does best, winning intermediate sprints and some KoM's that shouldn't always be KoM's Great to see him wearing polka-dots tomorrow! Congratulations to fjhoekie on the sprint win!
Thank you Ulrich for two very nice reports already, looking forward to read the other ones as well

Uneventful first two stages for our team here.
We're making the trip to Portugal specifically for Madouas, who should be able to do well in the three hilly stages coming up that look hard enough to trouble the sprinters, yet easy enough to not give the big puncheurs present a true advantage.
Maybe there will be unexpected splits on those stages that can propel him to a decent GC result as well.
Though to be fair, if neither of these things happen, this will become a race that reflects its status as "we have to ride this because the rest of the band is great for us" in the points total.

Nice to keep the GC lead for another day. Now is the time we, fingers crossed, unleash our GC ambitions/tage hutners on difficult terrain. We've got all the tools available to make the upcoming hilly days very, very entertaining. Really hope we make the most of it!
Congratulations on the surprie win, fjhoekie! And thank you a lot for reporting the race, UU! |

Not a bad start. Madrazo, Erdenebat and Kopfauf performed well in the ITT and then we have no sprinter so EXCELLENT stage 2 for us
Keen to get into the hills and mountains!

Not an ideal start for us in the prologue, but hopefully the remaining stages will be hard enough that those 5 seconds on his rivals won't matter for Meintjes. Cool to see the prologue specialists actually performing well!

Didn't expect us to be having to set up trains when I set up the roster for this race, and that came back to bite us here. A maxed version of Medvedev probably ensures that Coutinho don't have to open this early. Thanks for the report!

As requested by Ulrich, the results of stage 2 have now been posted as well.
Congrats to the winners so far; echoing the others, it's good to see that the prologue specialists actually seem to perform far more consistently now - although it might mean that their OVL needs to be slightly adjusted if this trend continues.
And congrats to our fellow PCT teams to sweep the podium on stage 2 I just hope the sprinter field will be just as weak when we'll be there as well
Thanks for the reports so far, UU, although I have to agree that the really entertaining stuff is just about to start now

Good stage from Hawakawa just marginally losing the sprint. Don't understand what Arndt was doing there, but he's been sprinting left right and centre.
Congrats on another win fj. You're flying this season!

Not a stage I thought Coutinho would have had a shot at a points finish in, massive third from Coutinho! Also nice to see Madouas' skill set come into its own here. Thanks for a great report Ulrich!

Solid stage for us. We were up front the whole day and seemed attentive. Obviously couldn't compete for the stage without a puncheur in our lineup, but both of our GC guys finished in the front group and are well positioned going forward. Hopefully that continues.

Pretty good stage for us.
No stage result, but Vansevenant showing a nice attacking style there proving strength, while both Cras and Vanhoucke were safely in the pack.
And to add Vingerling adds another decent performance. 2nd on day 2 was a highlight obviously, but him staying in the peloton today moves him to 2nd GC which means small and unexpected points.
Interesting to see as well that Vingerling is rated above Matthews by the AI, had expected it to be the other way around due to Matthews flat stat but both of them already had some nice showings this year, which is nice for spointaneous 50k signings meant as leadout train only for Groenewegen.
Will be interesting how the game is doing with Vansevenant/Cras/Vanhoucke once the mountains come. |

What a hero, what a legend. Quispe in the PTHC polka-dots is the stuff dreams are made of. He suffered a whole stage, but did just enough to wear them again in the next stage. Words cannot explain the cult status the Peruvian Cabra has achieved in Latin America.
The other riders were not superb, with two domestiques Osorio and Lopez Nolasco losing time. Good to see the big man Aular managed to stay up front, and at the end of the day it's all about him of course.
Congratulations on the win to cio, and thanks for another stellar report to U.U.

Madrazo is doing well! Good to see Yates on the attack at some point as well. Our GC position is safe at the moment! Still hoping for a good finish to this stage race from Madrazo!

Another podium. Won't have any complains about that, despite seeing Rachid and Inkelaar lose time. Cool to sse Guerreiro and Hayakawa working for each other in different roles in the last couple of stages.
Congrats on the win cio!
