Oh man, I wasn't even aware that was possible to be honest. I'm so sorry mate, I was about to reply in your post while at work when someone came to my office and I must have been so stressed I pushed the edit-button instead of replying before quickly changing the tab.
Not only a bad co-worker, but also a mean co-manager
But seriously, I'm really sorry for the extra work I've made for you hillis. Won't happen again. |

As I said, always happy to help with loans if it somewhat fits my plans - and one of those guys would fit them pretty well
And maybe it could enable another deal, like it did back in the Van Moer/Van Poucke/Brunel days

An American TTer, that is a rare species. Look forward to talking, just don't let Mac into your HQ.
Also if you haven't already make sure you consider the XP change Roturn posted, it will let you max Arensmen and maybe Ulysbayave without a loan (might be close on him).

I'm so jealous you got Wandahl for so cheap! Obviously wanted him, but foolishly focused on Blume Levy instead. He's gonna be terrific, and a potential long term successor to Eiking if you want to invest a bit.
You've got top CT leaders on 3, close to 4 terrains. The dpeth has been sacrificed for talents, but that doesn't matter a ton in CT. I expect you to be right back in PCT next year.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

That's a brilliant CT team! And as bbl points out, the foundation to do better when you return to the PCT is definitely there.
And very, very nice training of Eiking Really should be quite dominant in the CT now, seeing how well he did two years ago. |

Going back down to the CT kicked the door open for us, regarding development of new talent. The sponsors have made it clear that the team should be mostly Scandinavian. So some of the names above, might move to other teams in the near future. We are happy with the influx of new fresh talent this year, and we'll see where this leads us.

A ridiculously strong CT team. Odd Christian Eiking is obviously integral to the teams identity and should easily breach the Top 10 again without the likes of Kump and Kelderman standing in his way. In Brent van Moer you have another excellent talent, he should be able to replicate (if not outdo) the Top 10 performances of Benoit Cosnefroy and Szymon Rekita. I'm already familiar with Sindre Skjostad Lunke, he helped me to promotion back in 2020. The only leader that I'm less confident about is Adomaitis Rojus but I can't imagine him being enough of an anchor to weigh the rest of the team down. The future is bright for you, almost certainly back in the PCT next year, with young leaders and more youth coming through the ranks.
Like bbo I'm jealous of the Wandahl acquisition. I did intend to challenge for his signature but the Blume Levy bidding war put an end to that possibility. I'm not a big fan of Tjotta as a fighter. It makes him well rounded, yes, but misses out on the potential for either a stage race domestique or stage-hunting grimpeur. To me he is better served by efforts to producing one of the following:
| FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Stage Race | 68 | 74 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 71 | 61 | 64 | 71 | 66 | 69 | 74 | ClimberV1 + Hill | 68 | 73 | 75 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 68 | 61 | 65 | 77 | 72 | 70 | 68 | Stage Race + TT | 72 | 70 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 72 | 69 | 61 | 64 | 71 | 68 | 69 | 74 |

Cheers!
I hope to have a stress free season and bounce straight back up
I have ran Tjotta through several options, like this:
| | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | Martin Tjotta | 67 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 68 | 65 | 64 | 61 | 64 | 70 | 65 | 69 | 67 | | Stage Race | 68 | 74 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 71 | 61 | 64 | 71 | 66 | 69 | 74 | | Fighter | 75 | 70 | 70 | 70 | 74 | 70 | 69 | 64 | 67 | 74 | 72 | 73 | 70 | | Time Trail | 74 | 68 | 70 | 74 | 73 | 72 | 69 | 61 | 64 | 70 | 70 | 69 | 74 | | Time Trail Stage Race | 72 | 70 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 72 | 69 | 61 | 64 | 71 | 68 | 69 | 74 | | Fighter Stage Race | 72 | 72 | 72 | 72 | 73 | 70 | 69 | 63 | 66 | 73 | 69 | 71 | 72 | | Fighter Stage Race x3 | 70 | 73 | 71 | 73 | 73 | 70 | 71 | 62 | 65 | 72 | 67 | 70 | 73 | | Stage Race Fighter x3 | 73 | 71 | 71 | 71 | 74 | 70 | 69 | 63 | 66 | 73 | 71 | 72 | 71 | | Stage Race Time Trail | 70 | 72 | 70 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 71 | 61 | 64 | 70 | 68 | 69 | 74 |
Im considering putting this one to a community vote, to see what everybody think i should do

I'd say Stage Race as then he'd be a solid rider for mountain races with TTT's but would still be a very low if not minimum wage rider.

January, the first month of our season a newly relegated team. A very top heavy month for us, which should see both Eiking and Lunke set the tone for this season. Having one of our goal races allready coming as our second race of the season.

Looks like a very solid team that has a good chance of jumping back up to PCT. It's probably down to Eiking to prove if he was worth the training money.
But I see you are very confident already publishing his calendar

Well, I sure hope I won't have to face Eiking's new self too often Which obviously will be the case in Hong Kong already, but I guess with my roster my goals for the race will be rather different anyway
I guess you're hoping for him to replicate Boswell's 2022 season start, giving McCormick a great base for their successful promotion campaign. And I don't see why he should be far off - but to be honest, I haven't taken a really close look at the CT field yet.
Lunke should net you some good points as well, if planned well - he's not the best climber of the division, and Chiarello might often have the upper hand in stage races as well, but Lunke shouldn't be far off. Just like Chiarello, Lunke might have some issues with support, though, as you're clearly going for talent instead of depth.
Van Moer will be another great scorer, for sure - as lief mentioned, he should even be a stronger individual rider than Rekita last year - although he likely won't have the latter's scoring from TTTs. I still regret that he finally wasn't for sale this year
In terms of sprints, Rojus should definitely bring in some good points as well, although there are a couple of really strong sprinters in CT once again. Will be interesting as well to see what MvS is still capable of doing towards the end of his career, but some easier hilly races could definitely suit him.
All in all, I think you should have a good shot at promotion - with the only issue I see indeed being the lack of depth. Again comparing to McCormick last year, they had Kuss & Warbasse for the mountains, plus plenty of depth - so I'm curious to find out more on your race selection and planning, as that might be decisive with a rather top-heavy team. Good luck

@redordead: Haha, not super confident, but i guess it's no suprise that he gets a lot of action early in the year with thoose profiles!
@Fabianski: I think we are 50/50 on getting promoted again, seeing the lack of depth and my lack of planning skills
