Two dots are more than one, right? Guess there are other targets first, but if I end up with some cash and a free roster spot, I think A.B. would be a good fit for me

Clement Russo is our first signing this season. With a skill set resembling that of Alaphilippe (but younger) he joins us a nice addition to our hills team from Free Agency on the minimum wage of 50,000 – and maybe we already have the successor of Alaphilippe if he leaves us this season.

Kevin Vauquelin was our number one target pre-transfers – and we were indeed able to sign him. His wage of 170,000 isn’t cheap, but given he’s one of the biggest stage racing talents available with potential 7 (and clearly the biggest French stage racing talent for years) we were totally prepared to sacrifice some considerable amount of our salary cap for him. He’s clearly an essential part of the team’s future.

Aurelien Paret-Peintre wasn’t part of the pre-transfer considerations, but not because we weren’t interested, but because we didn’t thought he could even be available (let alone in our financial range). As we learned we erred with the former, we were ready to test the later. And so we invested a record-breaking fee (at least for our little team) of 1,000,000 and a record-breaking wage of 320,000 to convince him (and of course Grieg-Maersk) to join us and be another essential part of the team for the years to come – and of course for this season too given his stats.

A great team is shaping up. And, most importantly, while keeping the national focus too

Olivier Le Gac joins our hill department as a valueable domestique for Dylan Teuns and probably even a leader in some hilly races. We’re happy to snatch him for a wage of 55,000.

Felix Gall joins us in our first ever swap deal. We sent Julian Alaphilippe and 250,000 to EA Vesuvio and get a freshly maxed and still U25 eligible rider who’s a valuable domestique at worst and a decent point scorer at best, as he’s already a good climber / puncheur himself.

Young Aussie Dylan Hopkins joins us for a year from Amaysim Australia.com to gain some experience in the CT circuit. We agreed to help them here and to share his wage.

Greek talent Panagiotis Karatsivis (no photo available yet) joins us for a year from Elco – Abea (no big surprise for a Greek rider). And we are happy to help him getting some more experience in CT while only paying half his wage.

Alexandre Balmer will leave us after just one year to ride in PCT with Team UBS – Tissot, who already were our main contestants in bidding for him last season and now paid 500,000 to get him home to Switzerland. He’ll always be part of our team’s history as the first rider we ever sold.

Michael Gogl leaves us for a small fee of 50,000 to stay with fellow CT team Simba Cement – Tanga Fresh. We hope he’ll help them achieve a good debut season.

Julian Alaphilippe wasn’t originally planned to leave us this transfer season as he was one of our best riders in our debut season. But as we got a rider with a similar skill set (and a smaller wage) we let him go in a swap deal which also sees him riding for EA Vesuvio in PT next season. We wish him best of luck there, especially as he got the first win in our history.

Matis Louvel is leaving us to spend a year in PCT with Genii Hyundai N Cycling to get more experience there than he could have gained in CT. As one of the team’s best prospects for future seasons we’re intrigued to see him improved and back in our colours next year!

As with Louvel, Alan Boileau is spending a year in PCT too. He’ll be riding for our friends at Xero Racing to get as much experience as possible in a higher division. We expect him back next season, shaped into a helpful mountain / hill domestique before even maxing out.
