No time lost and no sprinter here so about as good as could be expected. Thanks for the report!

Leading the U25 is about the best I could hope for here.

Rohendi and Arifin are a great break duo. Hope they can manage to find their way into a few more, would love to have a proper crack at the KOM here.
Thanks for the report!

Riders all over the mountain, thanks for the great report UU, loads of action!
Great ride from Arndt to get 3rd on the stage. Backed up by Ranaweera and Tatarinov we are 2nd in Teams.
Zabel on course for a points podium.
Looking good for a points haul to finish the season strongly.
Congrats to Assa Abloy.

Very exciting stage, and obviously a huge showcase for Guldhammer. Glad his making the most of his skillset while he still has it. It was a blood pressure raising stage for him though. Getting dropped, then attacking from way out. Lots of highs and lows. Luckily he seemed really strong and didn't get dropped from his earlier efforts, so we're in a really good spot heading into the second mountain stage. Some promotion rivals did even better (Kraftwerk) but staying in the front group and gaining time on a lot of better climbers is always a good thing.
Also nice is the fact that Guldhammer's long move saved our team support. Gregaard in 12th is a pretty under the radar coup if he can hold it, and Eg in 18th is awesome too. Aranburu's actually the one who flopped here, but it doesn't really matter either way. More depth scoring is good, so let's try to work with that.

Great stage and awesome to come out on top Really good ride from Monsalve who was not among the first attackers but then gradually worked himself up to the front group while still conserving some power for the sprint. Positioned himself perfectly as well in the end His best performance of the season so far and now to see if he can defend his jersey on the brutal fourth stage. Going to be tough with a hilltop finish and some strong competitors, but at least he has a good team to back him here. Excited for the next stages!

Zariff did more here in one stage than in ToA

Great riding from Penasa on Stage 2. Will be happy if he just stays in that top 8 till the end of which he is a part of now.
More good stuff from Minali on Stage 3 to get back the Green jersey. Those are some unexpected points from this race for sure.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the reports

Said I wanted an aggressive Areruya and I got it - shame he couldn't cap off that great ride with the stage win but Monsalve just had the better position and deserved the win. Very interested to see how we can go from here

Page loves those positions so much, always good for a top-10. Would love for him to grab a podium on the final flat stages though.
Congrats bbl! Good to see one of the main favourites do their thing here. Thanks for the report too UU!

And Lo the AI Gods spoke and they said
"Thou hast a total outsider in a GC podium place, therefore thy sprinter will be cursed with boils, and he will not sprint, and points jersey he will not compete for, and promotion thou shall not attain, and thou shall be condemned to languish in PCT for all of your days".
Spoiler
I jest, thanks for the great report UU and congrats to BBL.

Dang, AKA really loves Maroc! I think this is the 3rd year now he's won at least a stage here. Tough sprint with the fast pace and little organization, but that's where AKA excels. When everyone's in the wind he can just barely outlast them, and that's what he did here. Excellent work, and thank godness everything came back together at the end too GC wise. Amazing stage for us.

Aregger is having a great final dash in his last maxed year, taking twice 3rd place in two sprints is amazing! I definitely regret not having been able to sign him earlier, he'll be hard to replace.
On the other hand, Mäder is just pretty much useless at any level that's higher than C2. Guess I'll need to rob a bank if Switzerland is to have a decent PCT level stage racer in 3 years or so...
Thanks for the reports, and congrats to the winners!

Love Guldhammer's fight and attempt to break the race open. Unfortunately he overextended himself just a bit and likely missed out on finishing with Sicard because of it. Still, he looked very strong again and has done well to line himself up for a top 5. With his hills ability compared to those ahead of him, he has a real shot at the podium. Just need one more day of good legs.
Strong ride form Gregaard again too, but sucks to lose Eg's GC place entirely.

Chronologically, was disappointing to see neither Raileanu nor Xandri get enough KOM points and then get dropped from the break. However, that may have helped Penasa later. Love that he was aggressive and kept pace with the group that mattered behind Sicard. Don't know if he will be able to do the same on the hills of stage 5 but so far so good. Minali also hanging on to the Green jersey is another bonus. Let's see how long he can keep it.
Congrats to Binance and thanks for the report Ulrich

At least a better effort than in ToA. Maybe try with a different rider again tomorrow.

Breakaways would be nice to salvage something from this race, otherwise these stages would be very boring to us.
