Well, that’s about as good a start we could ask for from Jakobsen. Would appear he may be up for another good season but still very early to judge. Gotta keep the form going across the days here!

Just catching up reading the great preview, thanks Laurens.
Zabel had a good wheel on stage 1 and did OK to come 7th.
Congrats to quadsas and thanks for the report Nemo.

Another disappointing ride from Saber. Seems like his luck is running out. 41’ back already which makes it suite impossible to climb alot in the table. It shouldn’t be an issue to grab a sprinters wheel and follow, but he seems to struggle with positioning himself like last time out. Fingers crossed we don’t go home pointless.

I wish there was a way to tell the AI I don't want a train

Unfortunately 8th isn’t quite going to cut it if we want to get a podium. Hopefully Jakobsen can fire again tomorrow!

Absolutely stoked with that! What a ride to zip through the others like that. So strange that this exact scenario happened last season, Howard didn’t compete stage 1 before wining a stage right after. I think he wound up 3rd in GC, would definitely take that here in a heartbeat! It seems he’s not strong enough/favoured enough for a train which is terrific as building a train last season always led to disaster for us. Suryadi is the only other sprinter we have here, so I hope the no train trend can continue! We needed this so bad after our disastrous start to the season. Thanks for the report Nemo!

I'm starting to remember why I avoided sprinter stage races last year.

3 stages and we can't get in a single breakaway. We might as well be the control team here.

Same here. We're not sprinting, so might as well try a breakaway at this point.

Minali showed up on Stage 2 but not again on Stage 3. Not unexpected as he's not among the top sprinters. Hope he can get at least another good result in. Good to see Saya in the break on Stage 2 and also Stoltz on Stage 3 going for the KOM. At least we're trying something.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the great reports so far Nemo

Damn, followed the wrong wheel there in Vesley. Wrong choice when he had first pick at Ahlstrand’s wheel. 8th is alright, at least he got involved, stoked with that! Congrats DW!
Thanks Nemo for the report!

Halvorsen is a savage. Lets just hope for a dub on S4 to seal the GC dub and a massive amount of points

Strong performance from Jakobsen for a Top 5 which is enough to hold onto 3rd. Still got a lot of work to do on the final stages to stay up there in the big scoring positions.
Thank you for the reports so far!! Impressive consistency from Halvorsen too.
