That’s going to be a WTF from me guys. Could obviously have been worse but not liking the names in that group. Great report And congrats to Ulrich, epic win!!!

I'll never know if Cattaneo would have finished in that front group, shame Brown got dropped in the end...

Well I have no idea what that was, but it worked for us.
We brought a strong climbers team here, and I guess it worked. We seemed to be able to keep the race together until quite close to the end. But the last thing I expected was Kämna actually attacking, and once he did, I got really confused and worried. For us, it all worked out. 5th on the stage is about what I would have hoped from Guldhammer, but now it's even better because Kämna looks to be in good shape as long as he recovers fine. We kept both guys in the GC group too, which could be huge for depth points.
Commisserations to those who lost guys. Very strange overall because top leaders fell off the back pretty randomly. You'd figure the game would either prioritize puncheurs or TT guys, but both disciplines had top guys falter and lesser guys stay ahead. I guess it was just a good day to have Daily form.
Thanks for the amazing report Nemo! Not easy to keep track of all that and you did superb as always. Now to see if Kämna can live up to today during the TT.

Looks like McCormick currently just can't lose, congrats on another huge win! Guess we have a #1 favorite for the CT title
Especially when comparing Boswell's performances so far to Moscon's. That guy is just pathetic. He already was all the way back on the same stage 2 years ago - and when looking at his stats, I really don't find any reason why. Maybe it's just that missing "80" in hills?
But yeah, I don't want to complain too much, others have been hit much harder. Commiserations to Eden especially, but also to red. It's clearly not the first time that this stage produces surprising results, maybe there are some elements the PCM AI just can't handle in a reasonable way...
On the other hand, we fortunately have an actual specialist of this stage in the team; Fausto Masnada has participated 3 times now, and has taken 6th (unmaxed in 2019), 3rd and 3rd (2021/22). Even though the team result is bad, Masnada doesn't let us down here. He took 9th in last year's final GC, and looking at the competition both in terms of TT and climbing in that first group, that's about where I'd expect him to end up again.
Thanks for the report to Nemo, and congrats again to UU - your boys definitely are on fire!

Yeah not happy with that.
Atleast Duchesne was somewhat up there to try and salvage a Top 30 from a race I thought we might be Top 10ing and maybe come away with a stage win or podium lol.

Well wow. Maybe this wasn't a planning error.
Was pretty sure Boswell was dooming himself when he went in the break but clearly the right call. And credit to him he went all in and didn't mess around with the early KOMs. He didn't win by much in the end and energy wasted on those could have been the difference.
Hopefully the the inspiration of the jersey will keep him from losing too much time tomorrow and keep him high enough on the GC to get protection on S3. In which case a decent GC should be feasible. Or maybe another hell for leather break to keep it entertaining.
But no matter what happens, that is our most memorable win.
Clearly the AI is confused by this stage, putting the TT first might clean it up if the consensus is it needs fixing.

Going to get Areruya to give Anthony Roux a call tonight on how to gain 1’50 in a single stage (think it was three minutes something across 2 and 1’40 on the final stage back in San Luis 2017). Game on
Enjoying Habtemichael so far, had private hopes he could do something like this but didn’t want to jinx it by putting him in the preview and also was focused on Areruya

Well if you told me Craddock would be a second behind Dunbar I would have taken it!
"Interesting" race. Glanbia just hoping for some minor points, maybe some breakaway action

Not too bad from Brown, but discounting the minute from yesterday he'd be well inside the top 10. Hopefully tomorrow's finish has some MO influence.

Erdenebat had a high result but not exactly what I wanted. Watson still up there but I hope he can maybe move into the top 10. Obviously Edmondson is not even close to being the leader due to stage 1 so maybe breakaway for him? We will see how the game mechanics let stage 3 pan out

Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does. Probably not much chance of moving up much tomorrow so a ~20th GC here is shocking. Thanks for the report though!

34th is a mediocre result on the day for Uwi, but all things considered, it looks pretty good overall. 7th in the GC, over 30s on 11th - if he holds on to the Top 10, that would be amazing. I could see him tumbling down much further, but stage 1 gives me some hope.
Some weird performances in there again, but there always are, I suppose. Thanks for the report Nemo!

Well, only explanation of that result is the attack yesterday was too deep into Kamna's energy reserves after all. 40th place and 50 seconds bad is a pretty horrendous result even given TT randomness. I thought we'd be in play for the GC after yesterday, and instead we lost significant time on guys who are multiple stat points worse on TT. I hope this doesn't become a pattern over the course of the season.
I guess we should just go all out for Guldhammer now, but not sure the AI will agree.

Ouch, missing out on the stage win by just a measly second hurts... Nonetheless, it's clearly one of our best TT results so far, and there's hope that Rekita continues to do well later on!
Congrats to BWT, massive win for Brändle - he really likes HK, even after his decline! I have to hope that he won't be able to hang on on the final day, though
40th is about where I could realistically expect Masnada, I guess. Beating Kämna would have been massive if the latter had been where he should be in the rankings, now he just had a horrible day and Masnada a "standard" one.
6th in the GC is still looking good, though, and I'd say he's the strongest puncheur up there - although a podium doesn't look too realistic, there's still hope he'll actually be able to create a gap on weaker climbers/puncheurs. The goal was a Top10, however, and he's got more than 30" of a margin to secure that.
Thanks to Nemo for the report!

Thanks Nemo for cool reports.
In the end, Craddock delivered a few points through his consistency but he couldn't repeat last year's great result
