The most vain transfer in MG history is underway.

For a very short moment, I thought, Cavendish would make an comparatively real life comeback in his third of fourth attempt. |

It almost was seeing how difficult it was to sell Bobridge. I had offers of ~1mio for Aidan.
A swap was a perfect scenario, as I hope that the money not spent can be re-invested in him so those +1 MO and HI I have already dealt have not been in vain

Just wanted to give a shout-out to all the new managers in the game.
You have all been a very pleasant addition to the game so far, taking the game seriously, paying attention, building respectfully and very competitive teams.
Hat's off, and thumbs up for your efforts so far. I know it can feel chaotic at times, but your efforts are appreciated and you are doing excellent! Keep up the good work guys!

Agree with SotD!! Even though I’ve had a war with the fellow kiwi team already it has been nice having new managers coming in and working hard on their teams and with trade talks etc welcome to the game everyone and excited to chat with you all in the tax discussion threads and also compete with you in the CT

The introduction of mentor is very useful for new manager to ask so many noob questions with detailed answers and tips. Really appreciated. |

For a very short moment I thought I had signed a valuable legend, until my mentor DMed me 5 minutes after the thread opening. "Tell me you just didn't do that." Safe to say I learned to check stats before bidding after that

Well, I think we shouldn't do that mentor thing again next year. The new teams are just way too strong

I've been at this game 9 or 10 years now and I still feel like I need a mentor sometimes.

+1
I know it's bad when I ask for help from guys who joined the game several years later than me.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

In all honesty, I appreciate that there are some managers out there with whom I can always have a good talk - I'd have done a lot more useless or massively overpriced deals without such discussions

Nah, just give them worse mentors Guessing that's why I wasn't chosen as a mentor this year so that I could fill that role next time
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I explicitly said that I didn't want to be a mentor this year, being in CT myself. So if my mentored team would've beaten me, I'd have done a better job mentoring than team building. And if it did worse, I'd obviously have sabotaged it. But will happily take on mentor duties next year if I should manage to promote against all those crazy strong teams

You signed a former Philips rider. That's no advice to give to mentees.
