McCormick Pro Cycling announced their final full signings for the 2022 season. The team's 13th and 14th riders will be Fikri Azka Mohammad and Kevin Feiereisen. Team manager Ulrich Ulriksen said of Mohammad, "he fits a two areas we needed to fill, he is strong in the hills and also helps improve our team timetrial team, at just 26 we think he has a real future with McCormick." On Feiereisen he commented, "Kevin will be our secondary sprinter, going to races not covered by Luke Keough and also working in Luke's leadout when necessary, Kevin is a solid sprinter with a big engine."
The team also announced that they are planning to complete the roster with the addition of two stagiares. Ulriksen said "the team brought in Mohammad and Feiereisen to fill specific niches but that in the stagiares and CT draft the team would likely prioritize US riders".

We were obviously very happy that Warbasse ended up with you guys! Essentially the perfect fit, and I really do think he was the finishing piece to a promoting team for you. Last time around in CT he finished 6th overall. And yes, he had some luck at times, but he's also just a very complete stage racer compared to most in CT. This time around, it seems the competition is actually slightly weaker as well. With Kuss as his right hand man and good depth, I think he's in a position to really kill it this season.
And of course, the other pieces are there already. Boswell is at the top, Keough is as good a sprinter as any. Plenty of places to score in a division where the strength is now spread out over more teams.
I'll be rooting for you to promote this year, and I think there's a very good chance it happens.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Keough, Kuss, Boswell, Warbasse. Hopefully it's enough for promotion. Joining PCT with a maxed McNulty would be great. If you then decide you'd take one 1 or two non regional leaders the team would be even more scary. Looking forward to the pictures of your riders visiting ancient ruins again this year.

Hopefully it is enough, not sure about BBl's "killing it". My guess is we are in the 4-8th range. So it could come down to disbands, which isn't my preference.
Original goal was 2023 with a maxed McNulty so not the end of the world if we don't make it this year. Although trying to fit a maxed McNulty in a CT wage cap could be interesting.
Have put very little thought into PCT but definitely plan to revisit the team concept if we make it.
Jakub only gets to visit ancient ruins if he does well in Gent Wevelgem, so you better be routing for him.

McCormick Pro Cycling Completes 2022 Squad
McCormick Pro Cycling has completed the 2022 squad by adding stagiares Cole Davis and Conor Schunk as well as Welle Jallays and Michael Rodriguez Galindo in the CT Draft
Team manager Ulrich Ulriksen commented "Cole and Conor were great adds last year and we thought they both deserved a second stagiare contract. In the draft we were looking to fill specific needs and Welle and Michael fit those needs. We have never had a rider from either Belgium or Colombia before so it will be great for our guys to see how riders who grew up with cycling in their blood approach the season”
As McCormick added two veteran racers in the draft; for the first time in their history the team will enter the 2022 season without a single first-year rider or a single loan-in. Ulriksen noted "We have spent the last 3 years building a competitive roster with US riders in the leading roles, this year it is mostly in place and we spent big to add Warbasse, so no more excuses." The full McCormick roster is:

Great mountain train but how to use it ?
Must be tempting to go all in on Tour of America but huge amount of race days ....
Your stagiare policy definitely put a hole in my draft list !

McCormick Proc Cycling congratulates Larry Warbasse on winning the Tour of California. Larry's win is the team's first GC win on home soil since Dan Holloway won the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in 2019.
Team manager Ulrich Ulriksen said "Last year we won a couple of stages, we couldn't repeat that but the big goal was the overall and Larry rode a solid race to put himself in position to win and then finished it with an outstanding time trial. We signed him to lead in races like this, we put a balanced team around him and he got the job done. The team and the sponsors are ecstatic"
Warbasse's victory was his first with the team and made him the 11th rider and 6th American to join the team's role of honor.
In addition to Warbasse's GC win and 2nd place on the final time trial, team members Luke Keough, Ian Boswell and Brendan Rhim also scored top 10 stage finishes and Boswell finished in the top 20 on GC. Jakub Rathe, Noah Granigan, Alex Hoehn and Michael Rodriguez Galindo completed the winning team.

Congrats on that win! It was about time that Larry finally lived up to his stats, after rather disappointing Tachira and Catalunya performances! I guess we'll definitely have a big fight for the division title until the very end - especially given our latest Pologne results

McCormick Pro Cycling congratulates Sepp Kuss on winning the Tour of Vancouver. The win marks McCormick's second victory of the season in a North American Stage Race. Kuss also won Stage 4 and finished second on Stage 6, 3rd on points and 2nd in the King of the Mountain competition.
Team manager Ulrich Ulriksen said "Sepp was outstanding. He really enjoys all the nice Canadians cheering for him politely. Hopefully he can carry that form into the Apex Mountain Classic. Some commenters felt like we overpaid for Kuss but we have never regretted having him on the team"
Kuss' victory was his second stage race win for McCormick, last year he won the Tour of the Middle East.
Ulriksen added, "Before now Sepp has never really had any team support in the mountains but I thought the team was great all week. Thomas Revard was always with him and also took the Young Rider competition and 7th overall. The rest of the team were also strong, I am particularly happy for Charlie Matte who got to enjoy the win in his home country."
The full team was Kuss, Revard, Matte, Gage Hecht, Alex Hoehn, Welle Jallays, Fikri Azka Mohammad, and Zeke Mostov.
Hoehn, Matte, Mohammad and Hecht patrol the front as the peloton reaches the final climb on stage 6 of the Tour of Vancouver.

Congrats on the win, your team definitely has been very strong in the North American mountains this year! Looking forward to see what Kuss can do in ToA, where competition might be a tad stronger than "just" Stüssi level
Revard has also been doing a great job this year, often even beating Mäder. Guess Vancouver wasn't their last meetup of the year

I guess that's as close to a home victory as it gets. Not that I'd know what that looks like
Congrats

McCormick Pro Cycling is pleased to celebrate promotion to the Pro Continental Division at the end of the 2022 season. Team manager Urich Ulriksen said that "We are thrilled to achieve this important milestone and to do it within the team's original vision of focusing almost entirely on riders from the US. Our stat guys ran the numbers and just under 89% of the team's points have been scored by US riders with this season coming in at our second highest rate, 92%"
Ulriksen continued, "Obviously competing at the next level with the same degree of focus will be challenging. We will get the brain trust together in the offseason and decide if and how we adapt our plans. Winning the Tour of America has always been a secondary goal for us and now we are more established we might increase our focus on that." Ulriiksen also said "Our biggest thanks go to our sponsors, McCormick, for their unwavering support of the project and we look forward to a continued partnership."
McCormick Pro Cycling congratulates all the riders who have contributed to the growth of the team but particularly Noah Granigan, the only rider to appear in team colors all 4 seasons, and Jakob Rathe, Thomas Revarrd, Alex Hoehn, Zeke Mostov and Brendan Rhim who have been contracted for all 4 seasons. Finally the team wants to thank team legend Dan Holloway, who 3 years after his only season with the team remains McCormick's highest point scorer.
