Zamri and Fenn are very solid riders to have in CT, hope they can do well for you!

Great signings to complement your squad, liking what you did so far! If you find a couple more good additions you could head up high!

Fenn is an absolute steal at that price tag. I think there's an influx of pretty decent cobblers to CT, so not sure how dominant he might be, but he should score very well. I like the other additions, too!

Brandle is a really interesting stat combo that you don't see much of in CT. There are very few C1 and C2 stages races without a TT so he has lots of options. And Pernsteiner balances him nicely.
I would have liked to make a run at Fenn as I think he should be OK despite the weak secondaries. Although I have the same impression as Cunego that there are a lot of cobblers coming into CT.

There's always a lot of cobblers in CT and transition was natural considering the scope of the promoting teams. My team, Trans & Crabbe promoting leaves a ton of space to be on the cobbles since we were by far the strongest teams besides PNS.

New Arrivals - Final (most likely) Wave
As it stands this will be our final wave during the regular transfer window (there's still the CT draft). Unfortunately, we had to sell Will Barta as he'll head to the PCT with Philips - Force India. As a result of this we've freed enough cap room to also acquire enough riders to be at the bare minimum required by the rules. Here are out final (for now) arrivals:
Tomas Paprstka | Age: 30 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 70k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 75 | 62 | 69 | 62 | 74 | 70 | 68 | 75 | 70 | 72 | 69 | 78 | 63 |
Flavio De Luna | Age: 32 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 50k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 67 | 74 | 71 | 75 | 67 | 72 | 70 | 66 | 56 | 68 | 66 | 67 | 74 |

Haven't seen the calendar much for you so no idea how much of that huge fee Brandle can justify, but if he does (and De Luna joins him!) then maybe you can start to look back at PCT!

Agreed. With C2HC gone and CT managers having a lot more control over their schedule, Brandle could be an insanely clutch signing. Not many CT guys who can enter C1 races where you know they're not just a face in the crowd, but a standout contender.

For someone who doesn't like older riders you sure spend a pretty penny on quite a few of them
Hopefully it works out for you

Tusveld was on my list too but it didnt come "down" to him because i just had a different focus in mind. Overall ii think he is a great help for almost any team.

The first few races were on a tidal shift for the team. At the time of making this report the team took part in 3 stage races and 5 one-day races. But how the team and its riders fared?
The first stop was Venezuela for the Vuelta a Tachira. This time the team brought in Kozhatayev as its leading rider. The team got off to a very decent start with a 4th place by leading sprinter Max Losch in the opening stage, but finished 12th and 8th in the following two stages. Stage 4 saw Kozhatayev nearly winning the stage and making a statement in the GC race, but things went horribly for him. Stage 5 was again flat affair, but the Kazakh lost over 2 minutes in the Stage 6 mountain TT and further 54 seconds in Stage 7 which bumped him down to 9th place with minimal chance for GC podium. This meant that the last 3 stages were to recover as much damage as possible. In Stage 8 he was able to ride with the leaders, moving up to 6th in the standings, but losing over 2 minutes in Stage 9 moving down a place before the final TT stage. He had enough of a lead anyway to preserve his 7th place overall.
While Kozhatayev and Co. were still in Venezuela, the team sent another contingent to Hong Kong for the annual 3-stage Hong Kong Challenge. Matthias Brändle was the team's top choice and one of the new additions in an effort to be more competitive. Stage 1 was promising enough as Hermann Pernsteiner finished 8th while Brändle was on the same time as the winners in 18th, positioning him well for the TT stage the next day. And in that TT stage he was the fastest, taking the GC lead in the process. However the Austrian was a victim of a huge collapse, finishing 26th in the final stage over 2 minutes behind, losing not only the win, but was even outside Top 10. A huge punch in the gut for the team, but the hope was for a rebound down the road.
In February the team entered a series of cobbled races. The team signed Andrew Fenn and Thomas Paprstka to compliment Chequan Richardson and Max Losch in an effort to strenghten its cobbled squad. The first race of this series was Viana do Castelo. Unfortunately, the team bit more than we could chew, with Richardson being our best placed rider in 28th. A puncture ended Fenn's campaign as he finished 77th, while Paprstka was 66th. Not the start we hoped for, but the following two races proved to be more successful. In GP Hernig Fenn finished 3rd, while at Gent-Wevelgem he finished just shy of the podium. In Denamrk Richardson finished 11th, while in Gent Paprstka was the next best rider in 26th. Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne was the next cobble race and given that it's a C1 race it meant that the competition is greater. Still, Fenn finished 10th in this race given the higher level. The final cobble race of the 5 finished just recently - Geraardsbergen - Bosberg. Everyone thought that Fenn will be again the team's top rider, but instead the Czech Paprstka became the surprising victor in the race, overcomming much superior competition. Fenn on the other hand didn't had the same luck as his teammat, finishing 30th, while Richardson was 26th.
In-between these races, there was Volta a Catalunya - one of the priority races for this team. The opening stage saw many of the team's riders finishing with the same time as the leaders while Tzortzakis got 8th place in the flat second stage despite the team not having any other sprinter to help him. The team didn't send all of its best TT'ers which showed as the team finished 4th in the TTT 3rd stage on little over a minute from Jura GIANTS which had two favorites in Masnada and Stüssi. But there wasn't any sign of despair yet as there were still 3 stages to go and anything can happen. And in Stage 4 Kozhatayev finished 2nd, moving him up to 4th. Stage 5 was with flat finish and wasn't a threat for the GC riders, but Stoenchev finished a very decent for his level 13th. And now, it was time for the final stage which was either going to make or break our race. We already had experienced heartbreak in Venezuela and Hong Kong up until this point, but this time the fortunes were reveresed. Kozhatayev managed to stay with the key GC leader in Masnada and even though he failed to win the race, he finished as runner up leapfroging Binance's Amaro Antunes and McCormick's Lawrence Warbasse in the process.
Though the results were pretty much a Jekyll and Hyde affair, the team looks positive ahead of the next few months where we will be gunning for more glory. The rest of March will see us competing in Jelajah SKL, Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Coppa Placci and Lillestrom GP. That's it from us for now.

What you call Jekkyll & Hyde results, i call the perfect basis for Promotion! Your cobblers especially have been pretty impressive on the whole, and Kozhatayev is riding solidly in a very competitive CT GC field. Eyes upwards towards the sharp end of the division, keep it going.

I agree with TMM that there aren't any really bad results yet. Kozhatayev was obviously a bit disappointing in Tachira, but he more than made up for that in Catalunya. 2nd is definitely a great result there, investing into your TTT train paid off
Brändle maybe was a bit unlucky in HongKong, but he definitely isn't a puncheur, and lacks some acceleration, so that wasn't that much of a surprise to me. But obviously disappointing after his great TT show - still, he shows that he still has some great results in him, and I guess he'll be in some pretty TT-heavy races this year
I didn't follow the cobbles very closely tbh; Fenn maybe was a bit below expectations, but Paprstka got you a big win in Geraardsbergen instead. I'd say it's a big quality of a team if someone else can step in for a slightly disappointing leader
Let's see where you are in the next ranking update, but the overall impression so far probably means that you should be on track for promotion
