National Championships & World Championships
Last season we started these in the beginning of August in MG time. We are nearing that time now and was thinking we can get them started again, probably NCs first. If anyone wants to take them up, please say so in this thread.
We started this around the same time too, so was thinking if anyone can take it up this time.
Would seriously recommend limiting the number of riders we add to the DB. But that's a discussion for some other thread.

Regarding NC and WC what exactly are needed? I can't ride the races/report, but if there's some copy/paste/writing up I can help with that.
What is needed in terms of rider suggestion? Isn't that usually an open thread where people add the information?

Rider addition is an open thread yes, but this wouldn`t cover all riders added as people basically suggest either the top stars or riders from their nation only. So a lot is still be done by 1-2 people trying to get the amount, stats and balance.
Also what could be done soon is the PMs to all managers regarding stat gains. With Avenir nominations basically done, I can work on the xp stuff and send the outcome to anyone, who wants to send out the PMs and collect the reponses. |

For whoever's interested,
NCs
1. Post this thread for this season with required changes: https://pcmdaily....rowstart=0
2. Sum up votes for each country and announce routes for each
3. Create startlist excel file for all nominated riders (riders from managers who have voted for routes in the thread).
4. DB and startlist work I hope roturn will be able to do in his time
WCs

5. Then collect all nominated riders into a excel file.
6. Collect all selectors and send them the nominated riders for selection for their respective countries
7. Collection selections and finalize teams
8. Ties need to be broken
9. Repeat 6-8 for up to three rounds for selections
10. Finalize startlists for TTT, ITT, RR(do self tie-break if still ties after R3).
11. Create startlist excel for above three races and U23ITT and U23RR. No nominations needed for this. Eligible riders from nominating managers automatically get in unless already selected for the main races.
12. DB and startlist work I hope roturn will be able to do in his time
I really want to make the WC process shorter if possible! If anyone has suggestions, please post in this thread.
I will help with the WC process irrespective of elsewhere because it's a lot of work for someone to take up entirely on their own if they haven't done it before.
Rider Suggestions

2. Collect suggestions and work on normalizing them. Add more as required for less represented regions.

WC's - In terms of streamlining the process i guess the options are, 1) Less events (although i think it's only the TTT that would be under threat here), 2) Cut down/Out selectors (so either pre-set Startlists chosen by the organiser based on available riders, or just having 1-3 selectors who are known to be active), 3) Pre-selecting the route (rather than a Vote, organiser just says what it is).
Not sure how popular those might be though...

Happy to throw my hat into the ring to help with this. Whether that's thread creation, collecting suggestions, finding riders, balancing stats etc. The DB is in a solid place so i don't imagine this being too crazy a task, plus ive got a lot more experience finding info on small nation riders these days.
[I'd offer a bit more help, but i'm not particularly bothere to find my skype/discord info and get those apps back, and i don't use MS Excel so a lot of Macros and auto-formulas get messed up on my end.]

Feel free to post the thread any time. If you have any questions or get stuck somewhere, let me know. Think a month's time in total for the nominations should be fine. So around 10th-15th may deadline is what we're looking at.

We are building a short Tour of Lithuania actually in Lithuania (DEM files permitting).
I will do the stagemaking but it would be great if someone was willing to develop the route (within some parameters I can give you) and get me the GPX's. Either create them or take them from a site like Flamme Rouge. Would be great if you knew something about building GPX routes but if you don't happy to provide guidance it isn't hard. Also might be good if it was someone who knew something about the terrain of Lithuania (are there hills in Lithuania?).
PM me if interested and can explain more. We have time so can be done over the next month or so and shouldn't take that much time.

Help needed on a few things in the coming days and weeks...
Firstly, Bayern Rundfahrt hasn't been claimed yet for reporting. Hope someone can take that up who isn't a regular reporter if possible. All regular reporters are kind of hamstrung at the moment, either with too many races already on their plate or because of irl reasons (including me). We are close to the season ending and hope it doesn't get caught up in this late stage.
Wins List
The Wins List file needs to be populated. Need volunteers for that. Usually a couple of people have shared the work in the past. Think I have a template from a couple of seasons back which should still be usable.
Also, who did it last season?
Goals
Goal completion needs to be compiled for all teams. Need volunteers for that.
hoyle, ivan and Sotd collected the goals at the start of the season. Not sure if you guys still have the lists for each division. Also, not sure if hoyle will read this or if anyone can contact him for the same.

I'll do the win list, got a 5 hour train ride on Thursday, that should be plenty enough time. And I've done it before so I know how it works. I can do the goals at the same time I guess, since I'll be checking every race anyway. I just need the list with all teams' goals.

I think the win list is done, check with Red, I set it up earlier in the year and I think he was doing it when he updates the profiles.
