Transfer madness is underway, free agency bids and offers are being made, but the MGUCI have decided to give us a bit of variety and release the confirmed bands for all the PT and PCT Team.
We are delighted to be awarded with our Top 6 choices for the HC Bands, whilst in the PTHC, we get out Top 2 choice and 4th choice for the 2021 season.

The first transfer dealing are being finalised and we are delighted to announce our first Free Agency signing of the 2021 season. Young British Talent Mark Donovan was delighted to sign a deal with Eurosport x GCN for a € 50,000 wage. He will join the team immediately, but will head out on loan to the CT to help his initial development.

A late one in the day, but we are delighted to confirm the signings of Simon Carr and Conor Dunne from the Zwift Pro Cycling team. Simon will be on a seaon-long loan as he continues his development as star puncheur, whilst Conor comes in on a permanent deal for a € 100,000 fee.
Both riders will be key domestiques to the team during the 2021 season, and we cannot wait to see them sporting the Eurosport x GCN colours.

Transfer madness rolls on, and we are delighted to announce a further two loan signings to the Eurosport x GCN team for the 2021 season. Jonas Rutsch comes into the team from Bralirwa - Stevens, whilst Kaden Groves will bolster our sprints team, coming in from Amaysim Cervélo. Both are with us for the year, developing their skills on the road as they go through their young careers.
Elsewhere, we have two of our guys going out on loan, all aiding their development in the lower ranks. Matthew Walls heads to Hello Fresh, whilst new signing Mark Donovan will be riding in the colours of Polestar Cycling for the next 12 months. We wish the pair all the best for the next 12 months in the CT Division.

.:Swapping Riders!:.
Two posts in one day, as we get more riders over the line and confirmed in the Blue and White for the 2021 season. Part Exchange was the name of the game, as we saw Jesse Sergent leave to Aegon - Peroni, in a swap deal involving Jasper Stuyven and a fee of € 106,000. Jasper will form part of the team that will look after Maurice Schreurs in the hills, whilst Jesse will given our friends at the Dutch-Italian Team a much needed boost in the TT department.
Secondly, we have Giacomo Nizzolo joining us from Festina-OAKA, seeing Charles Anguilet go in the opposite direction. Giacomo will give us another option in the sprints, supporting Kenji Itami in the spots scoring, whilst Charles will be riding in support of the French great Pierre-Henri Lecuisinier.
We wish our departing riders all the best, and thank them for their contributions over the last few years.

At the start of the transfers, we had one target - bring Adam Blythe to Eurosport x GCN for this season. And for a cool € 1,300,00 from Evonik-ELKO, plus two of our riders going the other way, he is all ours! A cobbles star of the PT peleton for years, he will be our main man in the PCT and we cannot wait for his first race for the team.
The deal sadly sees Pavel Potocki and Scott Thwaites leave the team, but we felt that was a good deal given Adam's credentials. We also see Stef Krul and Oumaru Minoungou leave the team, on loan deals to Isostar-Specialized and Los Pollos Hermanos respectively. Krul will hopefully see his final stages of his developments take place this season, as he plies his trade in the PT division
We wish all the departing riders all the best over the course of this season.

At the start of the transfer period, we have two targets in mind - Adam Blythe and a Stage Racer to take on the best in the division. As you know, Adam was confirmed yesterday and we are now delighted to announce the signing of Richard Carapaz from the Free Agency, for a wage of € 400,000, following his release from the now defunct Volvo acc. by Spotify. He will lead us in all stage races, and his age means he should be our leader for a good number of years to come.
We cannot let Richard's arrival over shadow the announce of Jon Ander Insausti. Another free agency signing, he joins us on a € 50,000 wage, after he was let go from the Podium Ambition team during renewals. Jon will be a key man for Adam during the Cobbled races, supporting Clenne Morvan Moulingui in domestique duties.
Sadly we also say goodbye Oumaru Minoungou for the 2nd transfer window in a row. The Burkinese National Champion will ride in the colours of Los Pollos Hermanos this season, after a loan deal was reached for the African. We wish him all the best with the Central American team.

Congrats on both of them! Carapaz went way too cheap, especially given his age
And getting a 77 cobbler for 50k... well... FA was crazy cheap for most riders this year, and Insausti is definitely a fantastic pickup for this wage

You say Carapaz is cheap, but he becomes our 2nd highest paid rider ever! Only bettered by Blythe who also signed this year.
Very happy with Insausti - couldn't believe he came without any contest.

24 hours ago, we thought we were done, but there was still one final deal to be had. The Danish TT talent Morten Hulgaard joins the Eurosport x GCN team from Carrefour-ESPN, in a direct rider swap, as Geremie Nzeke goes the other direction. It is a shame to lost our Cameroonian National Champion, but the signing of Hulgaard continues our direction change towards a more European based sqaud.
We wish Geremie all the best for the season in his new team colours.
