Hehe, terrible start with our B-squad here. I can't see any way to gain points in this race, except maybe Schorn if we're lucky in a mass sprint.
Thanks for the great report and beautiful images |

Really can't believe it... We manage to get tons of riders into this group, and Reinhardt showed several times he's the strongest - but then no-one is leading him out and his positioning is just horrible. Not good at all, simply not enough.
The green jersey is a good consolation prize, though, and I do have some hopes he can stay in the fight until the very end, given that there are as many flat as mountain stages left. But he - and the team - should definitely do much better tomorrow!
Thanks for the report anyway, must have been quite a mess to follow that race...

No idea what just happened here, but Quicibal sharing the KoM is nice, I guess?
Thanks for the report, it looks like it was messier than the average cobbled race.

Excellent from Boev once again. Really amazing return already from a draft pick! Hoping for more of the same from Boev in the sprint stages. We're well placed in all classifications and we hope to keep this going.
Congrats to Tinxias and thanks for the great report on such a messy stage

Absolutely crazy stage, though of course the lack of a time gap in the end makes it slightly anticlimactic. Still, a lot of interesting things going on and some bizarre moves.
Bertilsson with 4th is decent in this type of field. I thought he might be able to come around more at the end considering his decent backups, but not enough road in such a free for all sprint.
Thanks for a really exciting report. That was a lot of chaos. Interested to see if we get a repeat adventure in stage 3 or a more standard sprint stage.

I can't believe that I made the right choice to put Modolo in this race.
I know that he won't have any big changes in the other two flat stages but still amazing to get a few points and extra from Ignatiev in the top 10 next to Modolo's win.
Thanks, for the congrats and thanks for the report Gustav

Interesting to see Manarelli getting beaten by Pinot in a sprint Guillén got in the lead too early it seems, too bad. Congratulations to BNZ!
Hasn't been our race so far, let's hope Marquez can change that tomorrow! Thanks for the report, Gustav

Yay!! Wippert with his second win of the season! Huge effort from Altanzul to get Wippert back into contention! Nice to have the green jersey and Garby still in 3rd overall in a very good position heading into the mountains.
Thanks for the report!

Sigh... Those leadouts often worked out well last season, with Guillén capitalizing on Cissé's great efforts. This year, though... On one hand, Cissé clearly went too early, on the other hand I can't explain why Reinhardt so often loses his wheel. It's really, really annoying getting repeatedly beaten by guys that should rarely ever beat Reinhardt. That's yet another great chance thrown out of the window, while we clearly aren't in a situation anymore where we can afford this. So please, boys, do something right next time!
By the way, I guess we're the CT team with the least amount of wins so far this season... Which is especially disappointing given that we have a guy like Reinhardt who could have easily won 5+ stages so far

Nothing for us on that stage. Let's see if the next one is better. Wonder if we'll ever join a break
Congrats to Jakstar and thanks for the report

Another drag race with people randomly swinging across the road, losing wheels, and hitting the wall at random points. I'll consider myself lucky we got another top 5 in that kind of circumstance.
Onto the mountains.

After the total debacle on Stage 2 nice to see Keough fighting hard on Stage 3.

Nice to see Petrovski in the break, but with the relatively small differences before the start and the stage not being that hard except for the finale, it was to be expected that the break wouldn't survive.
Nice to see Marquez agressive, a shame it didn't result into any daily result as we barely have scored any points so far. Nice to see him enter the top-10 though, a repeat performance of those efforts in two days should see him finish inside that top-10 and complete our sponsor goal. Interested to see about tomorrow's stage, could be the last sprint (Go Guillén!) or a day for a breakaway to succeed because the peloton doesn't care.
Thanks for the report, Gustav, and congratulations to P:A again

Truly breaks my heart to see Keinath only 6th, what a shame. Tryg with a huge day though

Not the greatest stage for us, but we're still within shot of getting higher in the GC. Need Keinath to be a bit more aggressive in the next stages. Bardet too can do a little better but he has underperformed all season, so not surprised. Inkelaar doing decently well still.
Congrats on the win Aidan and thanks for the report

I expected Pinot to beat us but to see both Tryg riders riding away from Ranaweera also was disappointing, at least he is still ahead of them on GC for now.

I'm starting to think that Gustav's PCM has some hidden "Anti-Centovalli feature"... It messed up most of Reinhardt's sprints in Eritrea, and so it did here until now. It treated us really badly in Trentino's mountains and TTT, and so it did on stage 4... Please reinstall
On a more serious note, I really don't know what's wrong with the team right now. Beating Warbasse on a mountain stage is of course good, but a 15th place definitely isn't. Well, two stages to go, but if they are as bad as the previous ones for us, I'm really starting to doubt we'll promote this season... Looking forward to getting Masnada back next year!
Congrats to Tibopino for another dominant (read: boring) mountain stage win, and thanks for the reports, Gustav!

Wow! Exactly what we needed. The man knows how to deliver Now we just need to keep it together until the end.
Awesome day for Tryg as well. Thanks Gustav for the report.

Wow, that was really terrible from every guy on our team. I guess we used up all our good form on stage 1, as a good GC result is now completely out the window.
Hard to be too frustrated when Warbasse has been so good this year. He was bound to have a bad race at some point. Just a shame it comes at the same time as Fabbro and Eg, when our breadth of leaders should have acted as a cover for that. Their failure to get multiple guys points, compared to a team like Tyrg, has been very disappointing this year.
Maybe we can be a bit more aggressive now? We'll see. It'd be nice to get some retribution from Bertilsson tomorrow too.
