Mresuperstar has been eliminated from the eliminator but has captured the 2020 Eliminator Championship, making it to Week 14.
That ties my mark in 2018 for 3rd best all time. This is the 7th year we have done the eliminator challenge.

Maybe this comes off as a little salty since I lost because of it last year, but 10 points for the correct SB score just seems excessiv  I mean, if you look at how small the point differences are after 240 games, having such a big swing from one lucky hit feels a bit disproportionate ^^

Over the years I can probably recount on one hand how many times the correct score has been guessed.
The super bowl last year was the first time ever that happened I think. |

Which kind of proves my point though, doesn't it? Like, if more than luck was involved in predicting exact scores, surely it would have happened more than once, and if we agree that it's basically just luck, why have it in there with such a big margin? It feels like having this long process vying for every small edge along the way and then at the end a 1-in-100 role of the dice can just swing it all around. Again, it's not a big deal if we leave it, I understand the apeal and agree with you that the odds are slim. But I at least wanted to mention it

I tend to agree with both of you, so starting next season, we will reduce the super bowl score to 5 points instead of 10. Everything else will remain the same. I'm always open to suggestions!

cunego59 finds himself in an identical situation as one year ago. If he and dinger both pick the same teams, dinger has to guess the score exactly right (which happened one year ago).

Watching 4 or 5 games total this year probably didn't help my predictions. Hope to see where I am on the lifetime leaderboard after this season, since it's the only one that matters.

cunego59 would not be denied the title this year, as luckily almost everyone picked Kansas City. He scored 195, which is just one point shy of sosososik's record of 196. Surely it will be beaten next year as the season expands to 18 weeks instead of 17 weeks.

Despite playing one less season than bbl, TMM is just 2 points from overtaking bbl for 2nd on the all-time list! Also interesting to look at the consistency in my scores over the years.
Thanks to everyone for playing again and mostly everybody was consistent and stuck out the whole season this year! I will be back in July/August for another season as the slow off-season gets underway.
