In time-trials I would love see a timer running on each selected rider, especially at the finish or checkpoints. Just like you see irl. |

In my career I spectate grand tours and classics, by using the editor and editing the DYN_team_race table. I always hate the unrealistic results when simulating. |

Hi Steyr, you mean that AI also control your own team (not via automatic mode)? What do you modify in DYN_team_race? |

No you can watch the race without your team being there.
Load your savegame in a database editor (I always use the pcm excel editor). Open the DYN_team_race table. and add a new line
There are a few things you'll need to do:
IDteam_race: add an unique id
fkIDteam: add your teamid. (can be found in DYN_team tab)
fkIDrace: add the race ID. (can be found in STA_race)
fkIDinvitation_state: set to 3
fkIDstaff_physician: set to 0
gene_ilist_roster: set to ()
gene_f_score: 0
fkIDpro_cyclist_state: set to 0
Now you have registered your team in the race. When race is about to start, chose your riders, it doesnt matter who you chose. Then you play the race, the game will think your team is invited, but when playing your team actually won't be there and none of your riders will compete, but you will still be able to watch the ai play in 3D race mode.
Works both in one day races and stage races.

Thank you! I will try that, maybe managing a very small team just to be able to watch races, and then switching to my "real" WT team to manage transfers |

Idea:
Attribute for experience, called Road-Captain-value (RC)
Why:
The older riders are irrellevant, if the numbers are not great. That should solved. In PCM Tony Martin, Gesink etc. are outnumbered.
Idea:
Travel Cost and Travel Duration.
Why:
A Race in Australia and a Race in Italy in 2 days. Its unrealistic. |

I like your first idea a lot. Presence of older riders can boost race day form perhaps. Lack of experience in a team might decrease it. The younger the rider is, the greater effect on them.
Probably shouldn't be too strong of an effect, but would be cool.
Second idea is cool too, honestly weird it's never been implemented.

Sometimes in the race there are moments where you have to be in the front and you're not. The good domestices like Eisel where always good in bringing the captains to the front. That could also be a gameplay-ability (Peleton-Agility) which would be great.
...just brainstorming... :-) |

I had also something like that in mind : if a rider is protected by a rider that have good placement ability, his energy would decrease more slowly. Or the same with the rider that have a good placement ability himself but who is not protected.
Why ? Now it is too easy for the player to always stay in front of the peloton. |
