At least we tried today, that's what I hoped to see. So we're still alive - even though we have to admit that the PCT puncheur field is too strong for us this year.

Stage 2 survived: check
Claeys is obviously not a sprinter, so attacking made sense. Shame it didn't work out

9th and 10th are bruh moments, but top 10 and Teklit in 27th is alright, the only thing Ill have to ask both of them is not to get dropped in TTT and we should be in decent shape for whole dozen of points total

for a stage win and GC lead in our home race - on the exact stage that Roux did the same thing last year! And also for figuring out how to beat Bellis in a reduced sprint We clearly have those roads figured out
Houle played it perfectly and used his strengths to take the win as he should, hopefully he can do something similar on the final stage (also where we won last year ), and if he wants to sprint then a win tomorrow could be awesome GC-wise to put him 20 seconds ahead going into the TTT and the queen stage, where I'm not sure how we'll go. If he does fall off on Stage 5 then maybe Venter can take over, nice to see him in the front group today. Dyrnes continuing his pattern of being useless this season, unfortunately.
Nice to see our beloved Roux in the break today but I can't help feeling he really should have acted normally and gone for GC, weird AI there.

Good stage from us. Nice to see Ignatiev and Gallopin active in front of the peleton, as we need the hill stages to be hard. Third from Schreurs in a sprint is also very acceptable. Looking forward to see what Kreder can do on the next stage now!
Congrats to jandal!

Congrats to jandal and thanks for the report jph.
Great to see Flügel maintaining his top 10 GC place and Denz competing for young riders.

Lucky Bilbao made it back on stage 1 with no time gaps. But then he tries his luck again on stage 2??
He somehow delivered a minor stage result at the end, so clearly he had decent form. A good ride by Kasa to finish in the 2nd group, hopefully he can keep that up, because Bilbao needs all the help he can get
Congrats to Abhishek and Jandal on the stage wins so far

Stage 3 survived: check
Claeys on the correct side of the splits, feel sorry for the riders who lose time on a flat stage. Next up, the TTT, where I hope Claeys will not be dropped by the team.

This race has been a total wash - unfortunately can't salvage anything from it

Bellis is doing well here, shame we missed out on the win but we are now 3rd in the GC and SC. I'm unsure on the GC ambitions since Bellis may get dropped on the TTT but the SC is there to play for.

Meh stage for us, Houle should be winning that bunch sprint for bonuses (if not us chasing down the attacker and him winning), hope it's not costly. Our GC depth is looking nice and giving us the teams classification lead with Venter in the top 10 fight currently and 3 others in the top 32, but it's still all about Houle for the big points, so hopefully he can be strong on Stage 5.
Awesome stage win for Bernas, that's what he's so good for, cool rider being treated well. Real shame to see Kelderman dropped

Looks like 3rd times the charm and Bilbao was actually at the front of the race when it mattered. Shame it didn't turn into a stage result as well, but not losing any time while some others did is still a good day.
Congrats to Netia on the win

Firstly, congrats to jandal and Trek on the wins on stages 2 and 3
Stage 2 was ok for us, with Kelderman dropping just a position in the GC, and a Top 10 result.
Stage 3 on the other hand... Not sure how or why these things keep happening to us and our leaders. I think its best to stop hoping for this season anymore and start planning for a return to the CT.

Lucky for Kraftwerk Flügel was the right side of that break. I feel for Abhi, its so frustrating to loose time in that way.
