Quite annoying that Wippert is ignored as a sprinter here while he should be strong enough to win a stage even.
So hopefully the TT will go better. |

2nd stage in a row we had a train, but couldn't deliver Mezgec in the last km. The leadout finishing 4th is a small consolation, but on the whole the sprints have been very underwhelming.
We need a strong TT from everyone tomorrow. Maybe Penko can get involved in the U25 competition.

Von Hoff is capable of a stage win here but just can't seem to get there! So close on GC too! TT and Flat to go...Von Hoff needs to TT his little heart out and good result on the final stage might get us a high GC. Come on boys!!!!!!

Definitely not my best race. A no-show in the sprints and slightly underperforming in the TT.
Hacecky as the most consistent of mine this season it seems was maybe fine and only could have done 1-2-3 spots higher stat wise.
Downey though should have done at least 3-4 spots better, which then resulted in a better GC.
Surely not a race to think back again in a few days.  |

Yes! Given the circumstances Kovalev and Martin showed up with 2 big results. Now lets just not do something stupid in the final stage

Very mixed feelings, Mottin clearly not with his best TT.. He was the only one lacking, having 4 riders in the Top13 right now is great depth but I don't think the scoring will compensate the lack of a top result.

3rd for Grabovski is really solid performance and he's close to earn himself another year. But I'm really impressed with the progress of our loanee Michal Kukrle - 1:30 from the leader and 2nd in the Youth classification. IMO he's a hidden gem if his career goes on the right path.
I'd like to mention the decent team performance overall, but IMO the team will need some improvement here and there.

The sprints from Mezgec were quite awful here, but the TT performance was finally up to scratch. Getting the team classification is also nice and a 1st for Swisslion I think
