Two in the top eight, that's very good from the boys. If they do the same on the final stage I'm a happy man.

Damn, no bueno from Mullen - thanks for the report and preview tsmoha.
Thinking it's looking like another Pluchkin win at this point, and fjhoekie had a killer stage overall! Congrats
I can't get over how consistently Haga overperforms on TT's - it's unreal

Decent start from Izagirre, but I´m really afraid of stage 2 outcome. Elite puncheurs lost a lot of time in prologue and need to (and will) be agressive, while Izagirre stays in bunch with all 70-75HI puncheurs. After another decent performance in final TT, I expect to find him somewhere between extremely disappointing 12-15th overall. Tsmoha, please correct me if I´m wrong

super happy with Coppel's victory on stage 1. Hopefully his ability in the hills will be enough to keep him close and grab the gc win on stage 3! |

Horrible ride from Kuboki. I guess he was just not good enough at either Prl or hill to get any benefit and the time gaps were a lot bigger than I was expecting too.

Oh, but this is better than I had expected! Pluchkin could actually be in it to win it, and Nepom has a good shot a solid GC too now!

Reus needs to put in the ride of his life tomorrow to get us at least something from this race.

Bazhkou what the hell... amazing, simply amazing! Fifth in that field is stunning, well on track for a top 5 if he can overtake Lutsenko as I guess Ignatiev will pass Stan. That was such a fantastic ride, I can't believe it

Well, too much lost time by Novak today, so probably another HC stage race in April close to a 0-pointer

Satisfied with Quevedo's performance today. Haga with a possibility to gain a few places in the final TT. Not bad at all.

Thanks, much appreciated!
By far the best performance of Izagirre in my colours, those time gaps are huge. Regarding to GC, McCarthy and Lutsenko shouldn´t be a big threat, while Pluchkin will most likely pass Ion. Question is, if 2:58 gap to Coppel is big enough with such long TT left. 2:20 on Ignatiev looks comfortable, hopefully I´m not wrong. While we probably won´t achieve our winning goal, podium is very close

STAN THE MAN! If the points Stan scores here are the ones that keep Xero in the divison I'll have a huge party.

I'm sorry, guys. I totally forgot to post the final stage and somehow assumed, that I already had posted it.. Not sure, why. I'm getting old, I guess. Will be up in a minute.

And here I thought you were re-running the final stage until Reus did a good TT

Thanks tsmoha for the reports, everyone forgets something sometimes
The final TT went worse than the first but Haga, Martinez and Quevedo all leave here with a decent GC position. Not bad at all from our side. Congrats Iberia!
