Wow here we go
A good chance to see Dieteren in action early for his first race for us. Hoping for a top 10, but that'll still be tough.

Nice preview Aquarius, awesome to see CT kick off!
Quite a few PCT teams here, so I have to support a good race from the home division I guess. My pick for the podium is Ben Nasser, Gautier and Tuens.

First race for the new Wiesenhof-team, will be interesting to see how this goes, should be a race that fits Rabitsch

Season start!
Not really a lot of expectations here, as the profile probably isn't the best for Kadri/Vichot as mentioned in the preview. If we nab a top 10 I'll be satisfied.
Also first time I'm racing against Di Maggio after selling him, if I'm not mistaken. Expecting him to do well both here and in this season in general.

And good luck to all, of course!

The inaugural race for Vattenfall, so there's a particular interest from my side apart from it being the season opener anyway.
Missing out on Lindau and having to settle for Larsen means we will lack some of our anticipated strenght in races like these, but maybe there's an opportunity for a point or two behind the very best with a smart strategy regardless.
Hopefully the breakaway will feature a Vattenfall rider at least, we have Gogl, Koch or Pfingsten for that role who all could contribute in a strong break. Dina could be a candidate too, while our two sprinters and TTer Renäng will struggle to finish.
Good luck to all teams involved!

Hopefully we will be aggressive here, and maybe see some of our guys in breaks. Maybe even Lindau can show some interest in the final.
Cheering for our friends from Finland here.
Will also be fun to see our outloaned talents for the first time Halvorsen and Lucas Eriksson. |

Definitely going to be a super exciting race. Not sure how Di Maggio will fare with his low support stats, and it'll be interesting to see if meyer and Ben Nasser can have a great performance here.
Personally, I expect Kadri to do really well. This is a great route for high acceleration riders |

Going to be pulling for Delvaux in this one, obviously
Vichot, Kadri and the young beast Brozyna all in one team. How could I possibly root for anyone else!
Great preview, yet again Aquarius. Looking forward to seeing how the PCT teams get through this one, any major results could make a massive difference in the standings come the end of the year.

Quite a strong puncheurs field in the CT this year. Should be an interesting first showdown for those top guys then. Obviously rooting for Meyer and also Edmondson, who has two good backups and former Bennelong riders with Haas and Gunman. Would be cool to see them adding a decent result behind Edmondson.
Thanks for the preview and I'm looking forward to the first race of the season then

Great way for Compal and Zaini to start the season, very good win for him!
Gautier in second, I was sure he was going to win the race when he was on Zaini's wheel, just not strong enough, and Ben Nasser most likely using a bit too much energy early on.
Good result for a team like Delevaux as well with 2 top 10's, still Zaini the big winner, looks like he might have a better season than I suspected. Same for Di Maggio, his bad backups didn't hold him that much back today

Thanks for the good report and congrats on the win, Bjartne! Way to kick off the season for Zaini, who probably won't win too many races anyway. Though he really proved his pure puncheur skills today. This CT field promises interesting hilly races this season.
Unlucky for Ben Nasser in a way, but cool to see Edmondson with a strong finish for 3rd place. Had hoped for Hass to do better than 22nd, but it should not matter too much. Meyer not too convincing as 6th, but no bad result either. Delvaux proving that this duo can make for some valuable points eventually. No real surprise to me.

Congrats to Compal for a nice Zaini win.
Though the field in CT is strong and very close. Can`t see a real dominator this season and hence everyone will have good and bad days I think.
Personally a bit of a pity that former San Cristobal winner Mendes lost out on the flat and was dropped that early with still 70+ riders in the peloton. Let`s hope it was the wind only, that made him suffer that much.
24th by Ockeloen though is a decent result and I think, it will be stage races and breaks, that suit my team a lot more than classics anyway.
Thanks for that nice report, Aquarius and good to have the season started.
Spoiler And it`s back:

I thought Selander was well positioned on that last climb from the first screenshot but then he didn't seem to respond to the attacks. Oh well, 13th and 16th as PCT team is not too bad here. Decent season opener for us.
Congrats to Zaini and Compal, and thanks for kicking off the season Aquarius!

Super happy with Edmondson's 3rd place!! Haas and Gunman seemed like they were good support but would have liked some higher results!!
Still a great result for our new recruit and a promising start to the season!!!
Congrats to Zaini and Compal on the win!!
Amazing report as well!! Thanks!!

Congratulations to Bjartne with a perfect season opener.
Can’t be disappointed with Ben Nasser, always better to lose it if you gave it all, shame on Gautier and Meyer we could have shared that podium
Was hoping to see Estifanos Kebede a little higher, but he got a few seconds of TV time at least.
Last but not least thanks for a great report.

Very pleased with two riders inside top 10 in this course, even if it's 9th and 10th. Interesting that Vichot was stronger than Kadri here. Good to have a rider in the breakaway as well.
Surprised to see Zaini do this well. Bodes very well for Compal's season that Zaini can outperform the likes of Gautier and Di Maggio in the hills.
Congrats to Bjartne and thanks to Aquarius for the nice report!

First race of the season and Siskevicius with a solid performance. I liked his attack but it probably cost him the chance to finish one or two spots higher because he "wasted" his energy.
Both title favourites with a good race as Gautier finishes second and Delvaux has two top ten finishers.
Signal Iduna with a nice showing. Pszczolarski in the break and Miracel Whip finishes on a good 26th place.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Was hoping for a Top 15 but Dieteren ended up two positions lower. Would've hoped for a little better from Jaoa Costa. It's an ok start I guess but nothing memorable.
Congrats to Bjartne on the win! And thanks for the report Aquarius
