Our home tour had clearly to be on this list, is the most important race that we will have the possibility to run in our country. In addition, the current winner of the Volta became part of our squad, unfortunately Gesink will not be present in Portugal and from the outset this goal became almost impossible to achieve. It will be up to Chiarello to lead the team as they did the previous season and a place in the top 10 should be the best they should achieve.

This was a gamble, with 11 days before the first difficulty appears it is a little difficult to predict who will be present. I foresaw that the top riders avoided this race precisely because those days did not make up for it. The bet of the team passes for Cattaneo that seems the ideal rider for this race, 98km of TT and very little hill are things that please him. To help him he will have the best climbers on the team at his side. Without knowing for sure who will be present it is difficult to make predictions, but at the outset this seems clearly a goal that we can achieve.

First race of the season for the Gesink, and one that seems made in his image. The perfect combination with Mountain, Hill and TT. It is still uncertain who will be in France but Gesink will be there to win and have the possibility to meet our second goal of the season. If it were not his problem with the acc and this goal was perfectly achievable

This goal was thought for Silvestre, even though he knew he had to face the best sprinters in the world. Our hope is the combination of FL / SP / PRL. At present there are not many able to beat him in this combination. It will be difficult for him to achieve a win here but the possibility of getting a few extra seconds with the bonus system in this race is very real. Allied to this I also hope that in the last stage is the PRL to be taken into account and not the TT, if it is not we are doomed right away.
Will be need some luck is certain but this goal can be achieved or at least be a near miss

Is this a possible goal to achieve? The answer is easy, we will not achieve this by any means. It will be a small miracle if the team manages to survive this first year in the PT. From the beginning I knew that it would not be possible to fulfill this goal but we needed to inject some more money and increase the difficulty of the goals was one of the ways to achieve this.
