Great racing! And well done on the report too, Aquarius97
Trentin in 6th is pre-race a decent result, but must admit I hoped he would win the sprint for 4th, seeing who he was up against. Though, on the other hand he must have done a lot of work to come back to those riders seeing his position with 20 kilometers left, so all in all a decent result by our captain.
Breen with a super performance, very happy to see that! Happy to see us with two top 10s. Had hoped for more from Kristoff and Ringheim, but Kristoff was always going to struggle after being dropped that early, and seemingly never returning to the "peloton". Having Cancellara in 20th was also kind of great, as it could be his final De Ronde.
Congratulations, Roman! Nothing new there |

Sadly we had a very invisible race. Kump being clearly beaten by van Aesbroeck doesn't sound nice to me thinking of how the second half of Kumps season schedule looks like.
Congrats to the winner, first 3 are very much according to expectations. Nice race, cool report!

Thanks for the report Aquarius, 4th is pretty pleasing given Senechal's ability in the hills.

Well, that was disappointing, Vanbilsen disappointing all season so far. No help with him either, although all my riders finished the race and even won a few group sprints. Biggest regret is that I sent Joseph here while he could've scored in Kuurne.
Thanks for the quality report!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Last time you won't see Gerts in a top 10 here
Great results by Floris. Disappointed with Sinkeldam's race though.

You can never get tired of winning! Well done Bewley, you really make me earn it! All of those nice congrats every race, big thanks!
I am not sure how Bewley is unable to avoid a bad day in all of those cobble races in the last few years. This time it firstly looked like this may be the time he is unable to do his thing, but after all he was once again in total control. Just 2 wins left here to even out Boonen's record, incredible stuff.
However the best thing from this race for my team is Boroš's 15th place, exactly the type of a result I've hoped for to see in this season's cobble races. As my team is expected to control the pace for Bewley, all my helpers are well placed in the peloton and so my hope is when splits happen my domestiques can profit out of that a lot - exactly the case here. Even 26th place is quite nice for Zhupa, every extra point is nice.
Once again a 2nd place for GVA. Congrats, probably the last season we regularly see this picture. Also once again a great result for Aker and their cobble depth and this time Festina are surely going to be happy with Tom David's result. A huge blow for us to be honest.
And lastly, but maybe the most importantly: big thanks for a really cool and quality report.

Congrats to Roman even though this wasn`t a surprise really.
Thanks for the report. Great read.
Regarding my team, I think I didn`t saw a single mention or picture, hence I wasn`t even sure I did send Boom here or not.
In the end seeing him 21st, it`s a pretty acceptable result and good that I used Ronde as TONE training camp for him. Don`t think he is on any other cobbles this year.
Bovenhuis on 80th is rather disappointing though seeing he is on same cobble stat as Boom.
So in a season where I have no expectations at all on cobbles offside TONE, this is a nice little result. |

Obviously I can't be unhappy with 7th here from Tom David. When reading the report I thought that he missed the split once again to get 25th or so, and almost shut the computer, but decided to read on, just because...
So to see him going on the attack and actually being very close to 4th was a very pleasant surprise. In a normal sprint he would be Vanspeybrouck and be equal to Senechal, but given that both are much better cobblers I can accept, that he finished last in that group.
Bewley winning again, was no surprise. A bit surprised to see Boros in 15th after all the work he did, so I guess the 7th place doesn't count for that much for us - But certainly better than another anonymous race - which Pieter Jacobs presented this time.
Now for us to sit back, and watch Moser do it all over again in the PTHC where we aren't attending. Congrats btw Roman. These results are an integral part of keeping things close

12th from Zepuntke is not bad, pretty much the same position he had last year in PCT. So can't complain about him doing the same in PT.
Roman and Bewley winning again, The wages should really blow up your team next year...

Nice 13th place from Maes, seems like the PT scene fits him better than PCT, which is kinda weird, but nice stuff

Congratulations to Roman, (either top of the podium or the ambulance) .
Knockout 2nd just as predictable, congratulations with that too.
The most “to gain” in this race was Summerhill, who could not afford a sprint situation, well played by him to take this podium. Congratulations to jt1109 also.
Personally a bit disappointed by Aker – MOT, not able to play “the strongest team” this time. I guess after all not that bad with two in top 10.
Nice read – thanks, one day I hope to ride in one of these monsters, if i don't die from old age first.

Well, same podium in both races and Aker-MOT with 6th and 9th in RvV and 7th and 9th in E3, so both seems to fit the comment

Great result here from Summerhill he really tries in these races to make a difference and it's great to have someone with a chance in these monuments |

Little disappointed with 11th here, seeing some of the riders ahead of Baugnies. But then he's consistent again, so can't complain too much - another great report Aquarius |
