Say hello to our new guys!
Yesterday we secured Joeri Stallaert and just a few minutes ago the paper work was done to bring in Tim Wellens aswell. As you can see by their stats below Tim Wellens will be are leader when it comes to Stage racers and Joeri will try his best to snatch some points on Cobbles races he can also work as a leadout for Ahlstrand.
We are still working on getting some more guys in the team.
Joeri Stallaert 26 y 270.000 wage

Great signings mate. Really an ace job landing both of those!
I always had Stallaert as one of my favorite riders in terms of stat combination

They were my two biggest transfer targets behind Kwiatek, both are seriously awesome and should do great for you, good luck with them!

thanks guys! yeah, i´m glad managed to sign them both, nice Beligan duo.
We forgot to present our loanie from Carlsberg - Danske Bank
Asbjørn Kragh Andersen 25 y 50.000 wage 50/50 split. 100.000 fee
We always see to the best for cycling in Scandinavia so helping our neighbors in Denmark and give Kragh Andersen some experience for ProTour was not a hard decesion to take. He will be a good leadout

I love the Stallaert signing. Pretty good value to pick him up for the cobbles

I have to say, one of the few bright spots of this transfer season for me was finding a home for AKA with our Scandinavian brothers. I hope he does great leadout work for you! |

Wellens and Stallaert are two great signings. I have had both threads tracking for the longest time. Van Asbroeck has shown me what a deadly combo sprint and cobbles may be, Bewley aside, this could work well in PT, too.

We will be following the progress of Spotify - Haglofs with great interest. Hopefully you can hold your own in the top division. Three good recent signings should help with that.

@knockout - yeah, maybe send him on a weekend trip to train those cobbles a little more could make him score some pts.
@bbl - hopefully he will feel good at our team.
@shonak - yeah they were my top priority this transfer season, I hope they can score me some great pts.
@AbhisheLFC - it will be a very hard season for us but we hope we can deliver.
@Atlantius - doubt he will make very much noise in PT but he should still score a good amount of pts.
Our goals can now be seen in post #3. |

We have signed another new rider from the Free Agency aswell as two loanies, one from eBuddy (Ariesen) and one from Podium Ambitions (Robov).
Abal was signed very late in the transfer season and we where not the only team hunting him so he will be very happy every time he gets his paycheck.
We have also loaned out Marcus Faglum Karlsson to Valio - DeLaval to gain some experiance with them.
David Abal 31 y 575.000 wage

A hectic time has come to an end! We have tried our best to build a squad that can defend our ProTour place this season, the future will tell if we did good or not.
Our last signings was to cobbles guys, Laurens Sweeck and José Joaquin Rojas Gil.
Below you will see our full roster, Tim Ariesen, Momchil Robov and Asbjørn Kragh Andersen is loaned in.

I think you have managed to create a very strong team, with some nice an balanced depth. Your Stallaert project seems nice an thought-through.
Top level sprinter (hopefully) and a very strong leadout for him, some of which can even do a decent sprint themselves, like Reimer.
A decent TTT setup to limit time loss for your GC riders, Abal and Wellens and some very nice subtop riders like Lövkvist, Cort and Ludvigsson.
Nice depth in the hills aswell with leader Bystrom og co-leader Haugaard Jensen while also having Reimer for some less hard hilly races.
And finally a decent looking cobbler, who should do well I'd say.
You should have the strength to stay up if the planning goes well. And there are some very nice things to build from for next season aswell if you stay up (which I think you will). A nice, and different approach over some of the other promoters who put all their money on a superstar. Both approaches have worked before. This one could be the right season to gamble for depth IMO because of a new calender system.

Squad looks very strong for the season ahead, Abal and Wellens should score you quite a few points in most races, also Ahlstrand seems like a fairly strong sprinter and his REC should allow him to have a better chance in the final stages of some stage races. Stallaert should definitely pick you up some points in the cobbled classics/stage races, and of course you have a whole multitude of riders capable of picking up some points for you in the TTs, TTTs and the hilly races. Overall, that squad should be good enough to keep you in the PT. Best of luck for the upcoming season mate. |

Stallaert could play a vital role in this squad. Both as a lead-out for Jonas, but also on the cobbles. Success or failure might depend heavily on him.
On the other hand, great depth in the mountains.
Great team, very balanced |

@SotD - Thanks, yeah I always like such a team IRL where you have guys on every terrain. Even if we lack that real puncher and cobbles leader we still can score a few pts there. If we managed to stay in PT we have some plans for the next season
Thats what Im scared of, planning have not really been my strong thing...
@Martii_Scots01 - Thanks, I guess im not as confident on avoiding relegation as you.
Hopefully Ahlstrand can deliver big time aswell as Stallaert after some training.
@Ian Butler - Yeah, I could be important for us this year and our plan is that he will score a lot on cobbles Thanks. |

Any talents on this team?
Unfortunately the team management did not find any room to sign some new talents from Sweden or nearby when trying to secure riders to avoid relegation.
Only Laurens Sweeck was signed to this season as a rider to develop further.
Here are a list of riders that we still believe can develop a bit
Still decision to take regarding how to develop riders below.
Fredrik Ludvigsson 23y

Our goals have been made public before but not with any deeper presentation, and to reduce our abstinence before the season really starts here comes a little post about the goals. As said before it´s not very ambitious goals but we aim for kind off realistic goals instead of aiming for Win Tour de France or something like that.
- Win GP Moscow
211 flat kms, no surprise that we hope Jonas Ahlstrand can shine in his first PT race and this goals is built for him. We now that its gonna be really tough to even get on the podium but we need to be positive for our chances.
- Top 10 Milan San Remo
This is a really hard race as you all now, almost 300 km and a few hills on the way. We have more then one guy who could be the guy achieving this goal. We even have one of our riders who have managed to 7th here before, Martin Reimer. And if Ahlstrand can survive Poggio he will be in the fight for top 10.
- Top 10 Giro d'Italia
Who will try this? Will it be Abal or Wellens. We will send a good TTT setup and try to gain some time on that TTT but top 10 will be tough but could be within reach.
- Top 3 Tour of Qatar
It´s a goal for Ahlstrand of course beeing a great sprinter with a decent Prologue he could acheive this with some luck and great support by his leadout men.
- Avoid Relegation
This is our main goal this season, the only thing that really matters.
