De Bie just sucked a lot of times this season...my win goal missed by 26 spots...nice to see Ponzi getting the win, which was the reason for my goal.
Either De Bie needs proper training this off-season or he will suck again as it`s clearly above his level yet.
Thanks for the report which likely kicks me off the podium again I fear. Relegation area remains very close. Rankings to come as soon as possible. |

TvG 6th, I think it´s not good enough for Movistar. But better wait for official rankings.

Wow! If I count right, we have managed to stay 2nd in the overall standings. What a weird race, what a weird results, but good results for us in this Lombardia lottery. It was really close and was a great fight though, already can't wait for the next season.
Have to be happy with these results a lot, amazing result for Vakoc and a good one for Sagan as well. And big thanks to Piter Campero. He deserves a few bottles of Becherovka. Or a new piano, I guess.
Nice to see Kenya saying goodbye to PT with a win, congrats FroomeDog! And also nice to see our friends from Pokerstars staying up in the divison, will be great to meet you here again next year, beagle!
Thanks for the report, jph!

Disappointing race for Evonik as Skujins looked suffering very early but that had to be expected. I guess we finished the season as 7th ahead of Tinkoff which is a great result. Top 5 or best promoted team would have been awesome but we didnt lose it here but rather in ToNE or the two Skujins crashes (Tasmania & Vuelta).
Very weak AI leading to some very surprising riders at the front. Dyrnes and Suaza in the top 5 is sick. Also Campero with some ridiculously OP race ^^
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

You are definately off the podium roturn. Vesuvio had a monster race, Becherovka did better than you and so did Aker. So I suspect you are ending 5th. Puma didn't catch you, nor did Tinkoff.
In the relegation battle this means Movistar going down as the final team - I think. Pokerstars dodged a bullet by Movistar losing Tsatevich, who should have been in the front group, and could have sprinted well. Also a very unorthodox finish saw Tejay finishing slightly below what he usually would have been doing in a race like this.
But to be fair, Movistar had their share of good/extreme luck with not only Tejay van Garderen finishing 8th in the Vuelta a España, but also the retarded lucky 1-2 in Classique du Grand-Duché with Egoitz Garcia winning the race.
If a team that had that amount of good luck, can't stay up, it's probably the right team to demote, no matter how harsh that might sound. Pokerstars must have learned that Ion Izagirre isn't worth gambling with as a puncheur. He can get a good race here and again, but he is very very inconsistent, and just not good enough. Probably due to his acceleration stat. But surviving despite of Tenorio doing very poorly throughout, is a good effort. Can't wait to see how they make it back - They should be a stronger team...

Indeed. You should be safe - But only just! Vesuvio came so very close!
I'm very happy to see you stay in 2nd - The podium remarkably similar to last season

Nice activity from our second and third tier guys. Not a great result eventually, but we had our good races and this won't matter too much.

Haha, wow. Who needs Boasson Hagen? What an amazing end to an amazing season by Dyrnes. He has been outstanding through the whole year, and very cool to see him grab second place in a monument, eventhough it will most likely hurt in renewals
Very happy it means another sponsor goal accomplished. This season has been our best ever considering sponsor goals, though, admittedly they have been "easier" than ever as well.
Also a good race by Boasson Hagen, really. Just annoying that Campero for some reason rode like he's a 81 hilly rider. Congratulations to FroomeDog! Proper way to finish the season for Ponzi, despite not being able to save them from relegation.
Speaking of which, a nail-biting finish considering Movistar vs. Pokerstars, congratulations beagle! |

Yeaaah! What a way to end the season, at least we have a monument to take away from this season if not much else. Ponzi hasn't quite justified his 1.5M wage but he came pretty close.
Thanks for the report jph. |

Wonder if you plan or even are able to keep him for PCT.
If not, I expect another huge fight for him in transfers.
Weird actually that my season really was flying after I lost the battle for Ponzi, while you really lost the fight afterwards in the season due to the amount of money he stole for further additions. |

Skjerping in the break and Juul-Jensen near the business end of the race. Decent that. Congrats to Kenya on the win, but surely Dyrnes is the man of the day here. Almost hope that ember won't afford to keep him during renewals now

Last race of the history for Metinvest setup and it ended like majority of hilly races throughout my MG career: nobody in top30.
Same thing happening with my favourite part of PCM series: shitty AI as we know it from hilly classics (i know you like me for my complaining, so enjoy it for one more last time).
Congrats Ponzi and thanks for the report!
