Caruso finishing almost 4 minutes back is an absolute joke. We're getting no luck at the moment at all...

Amazing. A win to start the race, from a solid display, as well as that, leading the GC, means more points to come away from the race too! The gap should be possible to defend as long as he can keep in contact with the others on most of the other stages. I have confidence he can gap most others atleast one more time, meaning theres a great chance at a Top 3 here.
Thanks a lot for the congratulations everyone, and great report Roturn!

Nice win for Bouhanni there! Im really liking how many guys we had in the Top 15, and Kinoshita held on to the points jersey which was the most likely for him to lose today, so that is nice as well! Happy to survive the scary echelons.

Good reporting
Nice result from Flügel on the first stage, hopefully he can keep it up. Should have a more than strong enough team to finish top 3

PCM's AI is so retarded I swear, it's been at least 3 races this season where this exact same scenario unfolds: Ulissi has high SP, but not high enough to compete in any bunch sprint, Theuns has an even higher one with good backups that could gain him a few top 5s but won't sprint in favour of Ulissi, who is our leader in every stage and loses energy he could spare for the next stages... I fucking hate this.
Congrats LLS. Great work roturn.

Theuns is working a lot for Ulissi though. In especially on stage 1. Hence can`t sprint and lost contact or being in bad position in wind due to lower amount of energy.
That said, Ulissi should be used as sprinter then obviously as he could have gained bonus seconds on such sprint of course. |

Ehm..... How often has Vanderbiest been beaten by his leadout already this season? Happens far too often.

That's part of the problem though, why would Theuns work for Ulissi and not literally any other rider

Well that's one way for my riders to make up for their performance on stage 1. Great to see my riders actually doing work during the stage to control the race and bring back the breakaway. Great to see Roy and especially Caruso being involved in the final lead out and Reza who did a fantastic job to lead out and also finish 4th. Bouhanni managing to burst out and get the win is great to see and hope we can see more of it before the season ends!

First, sorry for being a bit inactive lately.
But for this race we dont have much hopes.
Bystrom have been bad all season almost and Vaitkus ain´t that god sprinter by himself. Maybe Reimer can sprint well on the last stage. |

I should complain more often
Great stage for Gautier, first among the mortals. Just have to hope he doesn't lose time on the next stage and secures 2nd place on GC, would be a much needed result in the promotion chase. |

At least we tried something. Too bad the result is disappointing, so hopefully that does change in the final stages.

Caruso more positive there but disappointing that he won the sprint in the mini peloton so he must have had something left in the tank. Roy moving up to 19th with Caruso 17th means they can hopefully go a little bit higher to gain some good GC points.

Eh, the high mountain ratio of this stage must have hindered Ulissi's performance because it's weird to see him getting dropped in a hilly section and not the earlier mountainous one.
Still happy he didn't lose much and podium is still in sight after all, but tomorrow suits him less than today's stage really. Fingers crossed. Congrats again valv and thanks as usual for the awesome quality roturn.

So far an anonymous race from Vastaranta, who doesn't seem to have his San Luis legs. Still he somehow manages to climb up the GC a bit on the last couple of stages.
Happpy to see Khalifa in the break once again. He really does have a nice riding spirit!

Congrats again to valv and great work hoyle. But that was a trainwreck for us, I guess Reichenbach had a horrible daily form. That's just super disappointing, he should at least have been capable of top 15.
