That does not make sense
Well, it's a TT and for me a proper ITT starts at 25+ km. Everything below is kinda a proloque and hence not for real men.

I would tend to agree with this, a national IT should be some 35+ km, with a little bit mixed terrain (not talking about mountains), and some technical difficulties.
18.7 km

Yeah its a joke, but unfortunately its a trend in cycling to make time trials shorter and shorter. |

That's their plan to give me a chance of winning them. If it's only a sprint of, who knows, 500m ITT, I would have not so bad chances. Better at least than in a 50k ITT.

Just Julius Johansen soloing from 72 kilometers before the finish line in order to win the Danish junior RR in front of two team mates. And he also won the ITT by almost 2 minutes two days ago. |

In the common Czech and Slovakian road race, Zdeněk Štybar and Juraj Sagan won the titles from a sizeable early breakaway. With only weak teams left behind there was no force to chase it down.
CZE: Štybar and Josef Černý attacked the break with around 50 km to go leaving Vakoč and Kreuziger behind. Štybar then easily dropped Černý on the final hill to win solo. Vakoč beat Kreuziger for the bronze medal in the sprint.
SVK: Juraj Sagan was the only Slovak in the break so there was no real competition for the Slovakian title. Peter Sagan didn't make the break and finished second in the Slovakian race over 12 minutes behind.

Burghardt wins the German Championship. He and Buchmann finished together, and Buchmann let him win. Class act

Oliver Naesen wins in Belgium after a tough attrachtive race on the cobbles of Antwerp. Vanmarcke 2nd and Stuyven 3rd in a sprint with 5. Major fail by Quick Step and Lotto.
